When you die... do you - ?

Just curious what most people do when they die.

1. Do you run naked and attempt to mug someone well outfitted and get gear back immediately (zerg approach)?
2. Do you log into an underpopulated server and hope good loot spawns are available?
3. Do you log into an overpopulated server and aimlessly run around already looted areas starving until you die?
4. Do you log out in a fit of rage and troll the boards about how ridiculous it was that you died and how it's someone else's fault and everything is broken?

The other night it was quite amazing, I was on a very populated server and I swear I was getting zerged from every direction by fresh spawns trying to knock me out Mike Tyson style. There must have been 10 people in 10 minutes that had no gear that tried to knock me out as if "the knock out game" was a part of DayZ.

Depends on mood, however since you are fresh, baiting a geared guy into shooting at you while running in circles and screaming can be fun.

My record is about 5 minutes against 4 decently geared guys. Could have been the most fun I've had in SA. Took them like 50 shots to connect and put me down.

I stay on the same server and find my clan mates who'll feed me up and probably have a spare weapon or they've already took the guy out and hide my gear for me.

Rage quitting isn't an option, nor is server hopping.

Depend on how i died, i try to loot my own body (within 10minutes) - otherwise, gather some new stuff (probably the same server) - meet up with buddies. But yeh, could also happen that i rob some geared survivors on my way.

Depends on how long I was playing for before my death.  If I've been play for over 4+ hours I'll just log and play again later.  Which I'll then come to the forums and collect beans  B)

I haven't died in three weeks, but I'd just start over on the same server and go loot. That's how it is, complaining gets nothing.

I just restart and loot as normal, though I normally take a break. 

 

I do find I care much less about my life though when I'm a fresh spawn and am more willing to approach people, though I never zerg them as I don't think that's what a freshie would do in real life.

I usually take a break depending on how kitted I was... most of the time I just re-spawn though, I'm developing a serious addiction problem.

I cry a little bit to myself, then I immediately go to the forums and make a thread complaining about KOS and how it is "easy mode" and how much KOS'ers dont play "right"

I'll usually (if possible) go to a night server that's half full so I have a fighting chance to run north and loot without getting shot.  Day time on a full server is a death wish since I don't use maps.  I stick close to roads so I know where I'm going but I definitely get off the coast as fast as I can.  Usually run to a construction site first to look for a backpack and a fire axe...once I get those two items, it's fairly easy after that.  Since weapons are just for defense and I've never used them, it's not high on my list while re-gearing my player...backpack, fire axe, food, clothing, can opener and medical supplies are on the top of my list before I go searching for weapons. Clothing, food and water IMO helps protect you during Z attacks, if you're energized you have a better chance of surviving an attack.  If I don't find an axe within the first 30 minutes...then I have to do a lot of running...circling.......running........circling....to get away from Z's while looting, it's a rather pain in the A...but it's part of the game.
