As with dayz, this forum is somewhat a sandbox where we let you run free to make of it what you will.

 

We cannot be expected to vet every post and thread that appears here. Its impossible.

 

You dont need to flame a poster even if he has made it very easy. What you need to do is convert him into a decent member or if he is a troll then report him.

Yeah I think this will get locked very soon. But as I hear its basically sounds like they have members working on new items and members working on bugs etc. And because when you add new items you get new bugs it is often that bugs are constantly rolling in..

 

If they had the whole team on de-bugging the updates would be quite bland and after they finally fix EVERYTHING then implement a new item, BOOM, more bugs..

 

Its a process and we just have to deal with it. Thats what Early Access Alpha is all about man. Just gotta deal with the b/s and find ways to have fun. Thats what its all about right?

Many times folk use the report button in error, or although you may think we are not acting there is a very good reason for it.

 

Think of us like BE which performs ban waves.

 

And one can hardly call a bit of trolling etc a crime scene.

 

You do need a thick skin here. But we protect you from the worst of it.

 

Anyhoo, this is not the place for a discussion on moderation. If you do really have an issue with my or any other mods actions, please contact a Green mod. Blues too will deal with abuse claims.

1.   Fix the profile reset crap.  Sometimes if you join a server and you see a very brief message something about the server not being able to retrieve your profile and instead of giving an error and is connecting you LIKE IT SHOULD, it loads you into a new spawn and resets you.  IF you can exit before the server writes your blank character to the hive you can save your gear otherwise you are just screwed.  Why is this still happening?

 

2.   Fix the graphical and collision glitches.  Why are we still falling through ladders or being vaulted off ladders or the game doesn't put us on stairs correctly so we fall and break our legs or die?  Ok so I got a bunch of gear but oh wait, I clipped through a set of stairs now I'm dead and have to start all over.  Not acceptable even for an alpha.

 

3.   Ok I understand you can't fix stupid or control people but there can be counter measures taken against assholes.  PvP is part of the game, I get that and that's fine.  BUT there is SOOOO much more potential for immersion that is missed because somewhere people got in the mindset they are just going to shoot you on sight and skip any attempt to interact and that frame of mind has spread like a disease.  I have personally experienced chains of events such as:

 

 

 

1That issue has been addressed, it has to do with servers not being whitelisted to access the main hive. Not a damn thing they can do about it. Its up to server hosters and renters

3 Multiplayer games don't sound like your thing. Have you tried Solitaire?
