Can someone get me some links to build a pc that can run days SA?

Recommended Posts

Can someone please put down some links for all the pc parts so I can order some. Not high grade but just enough to run days pretty good, budget is $400 - $500 thanks for any help.

Get an i5 whit at least a z68/h77/z77 motherboard, 2x4GB ddr3 1333/1600, any nvidia whit at least 300+ stream processors and 1GB+ ram will make Dayz fly.

You could add a 64GB ssd to install games on, but it s a lot of money to save 2 seconds in loadings screens so just use your old hdd or any wd caviar black will do the trick nicely and cheapy

400-500$ is damn low for a complet build.

That would get a motherboard, processor and ram

Does anyone know of a pre-built tower I can buy for about $4-500? Maybe 6? I already have keyboard, mouse, and monitor

If you'll be happy with "pretty good", go with AMD.

Something like: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=8687101&CatId=332 will run it decently. Better after they optimize.

Edit to add: That was just an idea. I suggest shopping around for prices and parts.

This one will run Dayz mod and standalone just fine if you want pretty good, but not maxed out. I should know, cos its the rig I bought last August for 50 quid more than it is now, and I am delighted with it!

My suggestion is save your money for another month, and maybe almost double your budget and you can build a way better machine. It's worth the wait, trust me. I bought a cheap pc to run some games, wasn't long before I just built a wayy better pc that runs games like a b0zz

^ This.

Wait until you have $1000 to spend and do plenty of research into what components people posting good performance stats here use.

The added advantage of waiting a while is that we're due some performance optimisation in the game soon and this could reduce how much you need to spend to get a rig that will play the SA at a good frame rate with the graphics set at Medium or better.

Ya guys I wish I could wait a month and have another $400 because I'm only 14 and my dad is spending $300 into this I don't want to game or anything just want to play minecraft and dayz and be able to browse, watch youtube, and write reports and stuff for school so will any of those computers run dayz? That's all I want to know. I will not be playing ghost, bf4 or anything like that i have an xbox one and 360 for that. Will dayz be coming to consoles?

If you can't wait for have more money, you should, in any case, consider to build your own PC.

This can give you some ideas.

As some user adviced, secondhands part can help you to build a better PC for the same price tag.

Some example with new parts:

intel

AMD

Can someone tell me the cheapest graphics card, power supply, motherboard, etc. to run dayz? This would help a lot. And guys I don't want an amazing gaming pc just one to run dayz and minecraft pretty good that is it. Nothing else like bf4 or anything just dayz and minecraft and like word and what not. Also prices for these components would be great.

You should have saved on a 4670k and got a much better board. rest of parts are OK for the price.

I never told the 4770k was a problem ;) The board is weak and wont allow for good overclock on the 4770k. A 4670k + a Z87 board could have been a better balanced build.
