How to quickly pick up items without dragging?

Hey, so I watched some streamers and couldn't get an answer to this how they quickly loot the items from places without dragging it into the inventory?

Someone said in the chat that you should click mousewheel but no, It didn't work either. I have tried ctrl+click, alt+click etc. What is the right key?  :blush:

 

And sorry for a quite unnecessary post, but I didn't find a "Little questions" -thread. Or I'm blind.

Look at the item and click on F. If you mean how to drag all of your items from one backpack to another, I don't think it works. And it shouldn't work. Just like you would do it yourself, you take item by item and putting in your bag.

well you can look at the item and push F (action button) to just pick it up

Double click items on the inventory screen to pick them up, or look at an object on the ground and either scroll and choose "pick up x" or press f when given the option to pick up.

You understood the thing wrong, I meant in the inventory screen like from ground to backpack.

If you have vicinity open, and want to move things from the ground to an open inventory slot, just double click it, It will go into your inventory if there is room. It will not go into the protection boxes, or med kits or anything like that.
