What do you keep in your inventory? My backpack versus my friends.

Recommended Posts

I just thought it would be funny to show the contrast between what I have in my backpack versus my friend.

As shown side by side with the magic of sick photo editing below:

And yes, the case and ammo box is full of, you guessed it, more bullets. I didn't even check his top clothes.

It's all about priorities. I told him you can't eat those mags, yo. But he won't listen to me.

Don't ask why I handcuffed him.

What do you stuff your sack with?

I had a great day today. I had my whole hunting backpack filled with food / water.

I had enough bullets to take down the whole hospital.

But.

I got killed by a glitcher.

>:(

I have the Burlap Sack Rope + Sticks backpack thing and it works perfectly. No need for 390393^293 rounds of ammo or so much food :D Dat FNX though.

So my pack is only stuffed with things I need. Protector case with food, ammo box and Med kit and a few lose items like books, paper and multi colored pens.

I have a shirt of ammo for easy access. My fun pants... handcuffs. Keys. Disinfectant.. sometimes a poisoned fruit.. keep in mind I've never harmed anyone with these. Yet. Then I have my vest of a handgun and other things such as campus and can opener. My backpack has a ammo box of which I keep full. Two med packs. One with saline and a bag of my blood.... heh.. I'm the universal donor. Keep it for my comrades. My other medkit has bandages, morphen, and epi-pen. Then I have a protective case of food. I keep a pink hat on me. My team is the pink hat klan. I prefer a black bandana though. In my ammo box I keep my rounds in there original ammo case because if it gets ruined and then you take it out the ammo is fine. Just a tip. ;0 when I'm using a m4 I keep two mags on me.

Guns are a decked out mosin and fnx. I'm always giving my magnums to friends that die.

It's better to just eat everything you find because you can hold massive amounts of energy. That's why if you look at my inventory when i've had a good run i'll have a med kit full of Bandages/morphine, around 100rds for a rifle that isn't an M4 (though i'm tempted to stop using rifles recently), A pistol (magnum is preferred even though you can have attachments on the FNX) with at least 3-4 speed loaders and 100 loose rounds, Sawn off with around 50-60 buckshot shells and 2-3 speed loaders. 1 or 2 cans of food and a couple of cans of soda.

I loose too much space from food if i don't eat it. Even in the mod i carriied around 1-2 cans of food/drink and dumped them if i really needed the space.

Bullets>food.

Why? Because if you're dying.. at least you can have fun killing people or shooting zeds. But if you have a ton of food and no bullets all you can do is be full.

The improvised backpack looks pretty cool! You mirin mah FNX? I even got a long range scope and compensator for the mosin. I got the mosin as reward for giving medical aid to a random group in elektro right after a firefight as a newspawn.

He needs less than half of the mags and you need less than half of the food.

I haven't quite sorted out my inventory lately but the Radar Cap I'll retain for in future, the red dot sight I'll probably ditch, the black trousers are for when I get bored of TTsKO trousers. The 10 round magazine is just so I have some back-up ammo without resorting to lugging around large magazines. In the courier bag there's a canteen as well as a First Aid Kit that you can't see in the screenshot. I like to travel quite light, so no big rucksacks for me. I rather want a Press Vest to enhance the 'U.N.' look - I am aware that this will increase my likelihood of being shot three-hundred fold.

Magazines and weapons in chest slots, noob mistake numero uno.

Perhaps if you expect to go into a fight but for me, well I'm up in the north, muddling along on my own, surviving in the 'wilds'. I carry weapons purely for defensive purposes and whilst I don't expect to use them, apart from the axe which is for splitting zombies in two, I carry them anyway. The few times I have been shot it's all been over long before I could even consider escape, so I'm not fussed where bits go.

You will need to carry around vitamins and extra set of clothes most likely very soon, also you need sticks. Carry enough of everything that will set you up to kill for a couple days without needing to take risks . Also, the mosin sux ass imho, get a sks and some body armor.

Well better be prepared than end up with having nothing but ruined magazines to reload your weapon with/ruined sidearm that you can't fire with. In this game you should always expect to get into a fight whether you play defensively or offensively. However this will all change once they fix the damage to items which is buggered right now.

your friend has way to much m4 magazines, you only need 2-3 lol

I would say 4x 60 round dual mags (1 in gun, 3 spare) is ideal just in case you need to lay down suppressive fire.

Here is my endgame, overwatch/sniper load out. I prefer the minimalist approach. And its been successful for me.

The protector case contains 1 morphine, cuffs and a couple of PU scopes to dish out to my squad.

Pristine TTSKO jacket/pants, pristine assault vest khaki, sporty sunglasses, military camouflage bandana, brown gloves, green jungle boots, Hunters backbag, fnx with all possible pristine parts + 2 extra mags for it, painted mosin with pristine bipod, compensator, worn LRS.

5 small protector cases, inside I got pristine acog, mp magpul and mp buttstock, 2x60 magazines, pristine silencer, pristine m91 bayonet, 2 bags of pristine rice, 2 pristine canteens, badly damaged can opener (damn disappearing items), firefighter axe in backbag for less detction, pristine sewing kit, some mosin ammo, pair of handcuffs. All 5 protetor cases arent pristine yet, been unlucky with farming them outside fire stations :(

worn ammo box with 120 mosin bullets, 120 m4 bullets, 80 fnx bullets.

4 med kits with 7 morphine sticks, 2 epinephrines, 3 bloodbags, 3 iv kits, 3 saline kits iv4's, a tab of 90%+ charcoal, painkillers, alcohol tincture, 2 sets of bandages, 90%+ antibiotics, almost all medical supplies are pristine :)

Can upload a picture later. Alot of medical stuff, even if I'm lonewolf I have helped people that need medical care. I avoid all busy zones, though sometimes I go to some hot serverhopping spots to get some mosin practice. I really hate the serverhoppers, so every guy I manage to snipe/cripple makes me feel good. Dont wanna throw away all my pristine m4 parts, might get bored of mosin at some point so I can switch back when I find a m4!

So, pretty much maximum what I can cary with my current gear atm. Could probably get more spots but that requires putting protector cases in other protector cases or med kits etc, but cba with that, since I find it an exploit! And yeah, kinda too attached to my gear, lost my char many times due bugs and reset, but with my current routes up in northwest, it takes me 2-3 days of slowplaying to get most of it back!

Since my last respawn, 3-4 days ago. Ive been satisfied with the necessary.

-1 rifle + 1 magmum, w 2 stacks of ammo for each.

-1 canteen.

-1 medkit + extra bandage.

- I eat all food I find so count that out.

- Can opener.

The rest is going to be filled with the stuff that hasnt started working yet. Like canisters, cooking pot, matches, firewood etc. (I dont play so much anymore)

I decided to ditch my backpack and run light the last week, as long as i have a can opener and bandage and a couple of rounds..good to go. Don't have to worry about sorting stuff out, swapping things out..do i really need this over this etc.

Yep... I love my Improvised backpack! Such a low profile, can see over your shoulder. I just want it black! It carries more than enough slots. 20.

back.jpg

Jacket: Ammo.

Vest?: Shotgun + rounds.

Pants: I never hold important stuff in my pants. Only blood bags or Iv start kits. These are easily replaced. Pants get ruined straight away.

Backpack: Some food, morphine, splints, canteens, med supplies and spare scopes for friends. And a bible (needs replacing), this is for prisoners, who get rewarded  :P

That's it! There isn't a need to hold anything else. Food & cans generally get drank straight away.

Sadly, died though due to "beam me up scotty" hacks. But the above is my end game/final loadout.

Indeed.. I have no idea what he means. The chest is 1) safest place for them. 2) Close to your gun, easier/quicker to reload :)
