After reading the first couple of pages I just couldn't read any more. I think its an interesting event that I would love to partake in and could really careless about all the people complaing. If they don't want to take part thy can go to another thread. There's only so much you can do in this game and any kind of new even can make things fun. I get that there will problem be a lot of fire fights going on anyway but it'd be boring if there wasn't. Besides the event seems to be well thought up. Only after the event will we know how successful it'll be. Thank you.~

My friends played earlier today and haven't mentioned anything of the sort. Have you tried restarting your game?

I'm not the most talkative either. Id probably be suspecious if there wasn't much communication. The people I met communicated a bit. Its still kind of crazy he went through such lengths. Hopefully it doesn't happen again. I find playing with at least three people to be awesome. Its even more fun if you bond a little on your adventures, but that might just be me. The past year I find talking to others in game to be quite fun. Sadly its hard to do with randoms.

The game really does get boring from time to time but there are so many small events and many more to come. From encounters with bambiis to firefights in kamishovo. From finding random letters to being sniped.. or perhaps being the sniper. The other day we were at a airfeild. My comrades and I. I sat in the trees scoping out the area. Up to this point I've never killed anyone that hadn't already seen me. My friends were at one ending looting. They fired at a guy in the hangers. That person combat logged. Meanwhile I followed our dead combat loggers friend who was at the atc. I alearted my friends. They said shoot him... the guy circled around back. Seemed like he was going to assist the person that logged and/or perhaps had my friends in sight. He had a m4. I took the shot about 400m away. Nailed the guy in the chest with one shot. I was excited for my first kill. Sadly I don't know the dead couples story. Weather they was friendly or not. I'll never know. I love the way I experience this game. I've been in the line of fire many times. Had no choice but to leave my comrades. Nearly died several times. Being a sniper is fun. Considering its new and I'm not good with the mechanics. Its thrilling to hit a target. However I have been on the otherside. Its not exactly fun being sniped. But I can understand how it feels. I won't justify killing a bambii. But other armed players... Eh, yeah. Two friends and I were once sniped outside of electro. We were careless.. my fellow afracian comrade fell first. Killed in a single shot. The swedesh comrade was hit but managed to flee. Before I knew what happened I two was shot. I survived. Crawling into the bushes. It was my first encounter with someone that meant to do harm. I laid in the bushes. My comrades telling me to leave. I didn't know where to go. I was frozen. It wasn't till moments later I was realized I was crippled. My fellow comrades returned and saved me. I was lucky to have survived. Its a bit hard to see how were heroes. We kill armed players without trying to communicate and help bambiis unless they mean to harm us. Perhaps we try to cover our guilt. We're at least.. only trying to survive. XD I dunno. Longish post. Typed on my phone because. Ya know? Boredum. Hope full makes sense.

Can't get stabbed in the back if you don't show it. Anyone can be dangerous. If I didn't have comrades I would probably not approach anyone. Have a bud that has your back and don't take your attention away from a stranger just because they seem friendly. What's dayz without risk? XD

Wow. Quite the story. Time to look for more trustworthy people. He seem suspecious to you on voice chat at all? I've so far been a pretty good judge. Or maybe I've just met cool people. Haven't had my trust broken yet.

It would depend on the guys tone and voice. And the situation. I don't think I would kill the guy unless he seemed like a threat. I'm just not the type. But to each there own on how they want to do things.

I've been alive at least a week. Give or take. I try to keep my comrades alive by telling them they should remain hidden. I'm usually not in the front line either. All that time I've only killed two people. One was trying to lure out my buddies The other guy I sniped at an air field. The guy was trying to help his combat logger friend. All that time I could care less if I died. I was almost swallowed by a mountain a couple days ago but luck was on my side. XS I'm no pro. I just don't like to be seen. Mostly by heavily armed players. And I know when I should leave.

I have a shirt of ammo for easy access. My fun pants... handcuffs. Keys. Disinfectant.. sometimes a poisoned fruit.. keep in mind I've never harmed anyone with these. Yet. Then I have my vest of a handgun and other things such as campus and can opener. My backpack has a ammo box of which I keep full. Two med packs. One with saline and a bag of my blood.... heh.. I'm the universal donor. Keep it for my comrades. My other medkit has bandages, morphen, and epi-pen. Then I have a protective case of food. I keep a pink hat on me. My team is the pink hat klan. I prefer a black bandana though. In my ammo box I keep my rounds in there original ammo case because if it gets ruined and then you take it out the ammo is fine. Just a tip. ;0 when I'm using a m4 I keep two mags on me. Guns are a decked out mosin and fnx. I'm always giving my magnums to friends that die.

Got to say that DayZ is my new favorite game. It use to be TERA, but DayZ opened so many other doors. It's kind of nice to always be on edge. Unfortunately I've met some pretty weird ass bandits. I don't care weither or not you know my gender, but if put in a weird situation I'll take at least one bandit with me, or die trying. >:C

Thanks for sharing your adventures. I've thought about doing the same thing. I'm going to start up a clan with some friends. Should be a fun experience. Either way looking forward to seeing more of your stories.

Yeah. I don't know if I'd try to help people if I didn't have gear myself, or at least another person in my group with whom I trust. We helped out a guy the other day and it worked out quite well for us. Gained another friend in this hopeless world. However tried to help another guy bleeding to death. Poor guy bled to death because he was scared of me. xD I don't think there is anything wrong with a hero. I thought it was quite fun. Just try to do it right and don't let your guard down. And other don't assume the person isn't geared. Easy as cookie dough.

Hello.~ My name is Holly. I go by Pommie in game. I'm 23, and a Psychology major. I started playing DayZ last week. I enjoy it very much so. I play with about 3 friends right now. We're always up for more people joining us in our adventures seeing as we cannot all be online at the same time. xD One of us lives on the otherside of the world.
