Funny DayZ bandit moment

Recommended Posts

My friend and I were hiding in the apartment building opposite the central firestation in Elektro (where everyone goes to snipe). We both were watching the tower of the firestation through our windows for any unlucky targets. Two guys suddenly appeared at the second level of the firestation tower, (one guy with an M4 and another with another gun). They were both chatting away with voice on direct chat. My friend fired an sks round into his gut and the victim suddenly screamed, "You F***in' f**k! You F***IN' F**K!" while blasting his full clip into the guy beside him xD He was still blasting him as the guy was laying dead on the ground as well xD

So obviously he must have thought the random beside him shot him, instead of us xD Was bloody hilarious for my friend and I!

Wow... And you pesky bandits still can't shoot.... Only camp on 3pp and combat log when you get shot at.

You both would've been dead within 10 minutes under my watch when i had a team out in the vicinity.

Everyone is the best right?

I've been in firefight's several times, there is no guarantee. It's so funny how everyone turn's on the ego machine when someone mentions anything that doesn't fit the particular playing style that they like.

A metric fuck ton of people here are very discrete and cautious not to say that they've killed other players, and they will only mention that they help everyone. One day you'll be honest with yourself and realize that your always looking for a justification to kill another player.

True survival in this game mean's no interaction, if you chose to interact you've made your decision already and the intention is to kill, or be killed based off chance. I've run with players for hours only to have them kill me when the time is right.

My only promises are made by the group I run with, that comes with the literal guarantee that I will not be shot by one of them. You never know who your going to run into in this game, but if you chose to interact with someone in game, your options become slimmer when looking at survival.

As far as electro goes, when you go there your either new or looking to pick a fight, period. Bandit killers?? They are no better than KOS'ers you never really know who the fucking bandit is.

Something similar in Elektro. After an hour of watching bambis and under geared players trying to find food, and holding my shots for some fun game, I happened across a group of 3 very heavily armed people run into a group of 4 survivor types with mismatched gear and civ weapons.

They were cordial and started to trade. I put 1 SKS round into the head of one guy and the two groups went full murder mode on each other.

After the dust settled I ran in, got fully geared and then made my way out..... and forgot to check my corner and was pistoled by someone hiding in an alley.

I love this game when it's running smooth.

When did I say we combat logged? We hate combat loggers. it's our first time camping in that building actually :P But not much else to do in the game atm.

Hahaha that is so epic! xD Damn shame you got killed by a guy with a pistol straight after. But I guess that's DayZ for ya :P One of my main gripes at the moment is the AMOUNT of desync going on. When people sprint, they just go all over the place. Makes trying to hit a moving target almost impossible.

Well, I do kinda deserve being gunned down because I just caused a bunch of people to become incredibly jaded. Anywho.....

Yeah, I can't wait for the animations and desync to be smoothed out. I am fine with guns being a bit clunkier and guns not being arcadey, but even the tiniest bit of desync causes this game to go haywire. People start rubber banding, phasing in and out of walls, and just being impossible to hit. I remember the mod was also difficult to shoot moving targets, but at least it was a test of skill, not of bandwidth and coding.

I have a similar story, except I was the victim!

Was in Cherno with a sawn off, at night.  I was getting shot at by what sounded like an SKS. Probably from some other building. So I ducked into a house for cover, ran right up the stairs. And I waited. Because: When in doubt, wait. Right? So this mob of fresh spawns had gathered around both exits, and in poor english (Obviously not their first language)  they tell me what a bastard I am for shooting at their friends. I think I was called a puta. First language was likely Spanish? I tell them what really happened--someone shot at me, so I went into cover. They didn't believe me, or there was a communication breakdown. I suppose it was just one of those situations where a mob wanted blood.

So they stormed the building, swarming me,  and beat me to death. Taunting and mocking in barely decipherable English ensued.

I just sat at the "You are Dead" Screen laughing for awhile. Communication breakdown. Just..hilarious. lol.

Woe to the Vanquished, indeed.

Puta is b**** in spanish :P You poor poor soul.

I guess at night time, it's pretty much impossible to be able to tell who shot you.

Similar situation, i was in elektro with an SKS and a PU scope in a building along the side of a road while i noticed 3 guys with motorcycle helmets and misc melee weapons and one of them had a shotgun were talking in the middle of the road, scouted for a while and managed to gather they were in a war with a rival gang. After they shot at eachother (the 2 gangs) ended up length wise down the street with me in the middle simply watching, i noticed them coming near so i crouched at the top of the stairs and waited.. one guy with an M4 walked in and i shot him right in the neck one shot and he was down, followed by his friends yelling calling the motorcycle guys bastards and unloading on them killing all 3. It was interesting how i started a big turf war from one bullet shot. After the dust cleared i ended upstairs with 2 of the guys below me and heard them talking, by some miracle they didnt go to the one room upstairs and i managed to live safely after.
