BadAsh (DayZ) 1513 Posted February 20, 2014 Sure, I have no qualms with this. If you enjoy the grind, feel free to immerse yourself with Day Z to your hearts galore sir. What are you talking about? Those first couple of hours between being a newspawn and gearing up is currently the most fun to be had in the game. As soon as you are geared up the game loses its purpose. Highlander007 249 Posted February 20, 2014 OK i'll play. Why do I have something against third party micro transactions that are open to financial and all sorts of other online frauds? (This conversation could take ages like this.) Every purchase you ever make has the potential to be fraudulent, whether online or not.Nope. Registered companies that sell online are under various customer protection laws. Bohemia Interactive as a company is accountable for it's transactions to the country in which they are incorporated as well as the accountability to Steam /which is also a registered trademark and is under similar, if not same customer protection laws.Joe Blow can sell you pixie dust and unicorn horns for hard currency and legally you'd have no recourse, As well as some unsuspecting victims could inadvertently hand over their pass codes and cc numbers if that is the type if scam that ''Joe'' is running. tolan 11 Posted February 20, 2014 The tone of his posts sound less like someone legitimately trying to scam and more like someone roleplaying as an early 1800's snakeoil salesman.... I mean, potential scam for sure, but the use of good english and clever wording in many cases indicate to me that there's something more to this. Something lulz-worthy. I've never played any games where you have to grind out stuff, and where it would make sense to save time by investing in someone to get stuff for you, and this game certainly isn't one of them. So I don't have experience with any of the other "pay to win" games or their forums where that kind of service would be offered, and as such can't really say for sure if this is in the same vein. In all honesty, I'm just curious as to what the other side of this is. I'm guessing it's induction into some kind of cult, like a creepy Jehova's witness kinda deal except sinister in spirit. Oh sorry, you must be a commercial lawyer with that kind of in depth legal understanding.. P.S you are talking out of your posterior.
helcol 174 Posted February 20, 2014 For those who are wondering what I get in return: - I may want to make a friend.- I may want to start a clan.- I may just be so gosh darn friendly.- I want this game to succeed and maybe I can promote it by helping out newbies.- Maybe I want to make a multi-billion dollar corporation on gearing people in Day Z Standalone.- I want to marry their daughters or sisters.- I want nude pics.- I would like to hear them sing a lullaby while I sleep. Clear enough? No, instructions not clear enough, still got my d*^k stuck in a ceiling fan! HALP!

ninjaontour 123 Posted February 20, 2014 I don't know what you're epxecting to happen, but maybe you should read the rules again before planning on offering a service. OP's offer is covered by none of the stipulations you stated. He's not making any money, and he isn't recruiting. Seems like it belongs in General Discussion. You seem cool OP, keep Heroin' out! There needs to be a few of us out there, at least!
