Seriously find the video of him talking about it .. Checking pulse doing cpr to keep people alive long enough for better medical treatment. It sounded intense he addmitted he couldnt make it 100% realistic but they keept to the base effects very well... Edit those guys playing medics will have to know there shit as by sounds of it there will be several things that would have some of the symptoms like chest pain.... That's fine with me. I just don't get why they put this in the game NOW, when there are no vehicles, and no accessible way to traverse the map efficiently. and keep in mind, the quicker people get to and from places at this point in time, the more they experience, and the more feedback they are able to give. At some point you have to balance practicality with realism, and visa versa. Penalize a player for doing nothing more than walking through a construction site? I am willing to bet the devs are smart enough to put the horse before the cart so to speak ( well i hope they are) But hey who knows the mechanic may suck it may be bad but till we test it cant say one way or the other. the devs themselves before it gets to us may goo hmm was a good idea we just cant get it to work well and scrap the whole thing or simplify it only time will tell... kobeandodom 23 Posted February 20, 2014 (edited) I know I have ran in a 26 mile marathon along with a bunch of 10k marathons, no matter how hard I have pushed in those no heart attack happened, and in this game I haven't run non stop anything close to that distance, and am in houses left and right getting food and water. If they wanted to make running more realistic, why not implement some sort of stamina based system. I don't really like the idea of a heart attack when we have a hard enough time telling why a player is unconscious as it is. Even when we know why, not all the medical stuff works properly. It is such a bad idea, most players will get infected by some disease which will weaken them and put them at risk killing them. But this is a bloody game not a life simulator. Personally this is a bad addition whih ahould be reviewed immediately. Please! The only reason I can see them in for is weight allowance cheating. Carry too much and you die.
