Kushko 36 Posted February 15, 2014 Is there any downside to just having it deployed all the time? Like when you're not prone to use it properly, is there some kind of penalty? Cheers!

I saw a thread on here somewhere where the spread is a bit higher when your bipod is deployed while standing up, which would make sense, I guess, as it's changing the mass centre of the gun.

Baarn 53 Posted February 15, 2014 However that is only speculation, I have not seen any evidence proving this.I usually retract my bipod though as it lessenes my silhuette.
Max Planck 7174 Posted February 15, 2014 When deployed, it also gets in the way when trying to look over your shoulder. Not that much maybe, but it bothers me enough to fold it in.
