"RESET WARNING"

I get reset ed more then i FUCKING DIE in this game. This alpha is absolutely horrible to the point if i can go back in time to not purchase this game i would, the frustration of losing hours of hard looting is ridiculous, the DEV TEAM punishes players for jumping servers with ridiculous countdowns  <_< and yet there's a 50% chance your character will get a reset each server change :huh:  i have held my mouth shut due to this bug for a countless month, and today was the final straw i will no longer play this Alpha :o , UNTIL THAT RESET BUG is RESOLVED  i would had posted this in bugs FORUMS but creating another account is a waste of my time. So i will do the 2nd best thing, im WARNING the New players  :thumbsup:  about this issue since it is not a DEV TEAM PRIORITY.  :(   When i see a update announcement for this issue RESOLVED i may return until then i will be playing RUST......   :(

I bugged into a wall yesterday, tried to save myself by logging, lost my fully kitted up guy... and my sodding LRS!  Spent the rest of the evening fist fighting on the coast, many lol's were had!

 

if you can't handle it, it's prolly best you give the game a wide berth for about a year...

Do you know that there are differnet hive with differnet characters ? 

 

Also you should not buy an alpha. It was told you before. You are not supposed to actually play the game. You should test it.

Even in rust you can reset :) happend severel times to me ^^

Btw, I experienced that bug 3 times now, logging  on a new server with the beach in my back. 

 

I got my gear back by:

 

- immediately log off

- return to the server, I have been on before the one, I just got resetted on.

 

Voila - woke up with all my stuff.

1. You were warned repeatedly when buying into it, that this is an Alpha release and to expect to lose your progress, either by bugs or by hive resets.

 

2. You get warned about this everytime you log on.

 

3. You obviously have no idea what the purpose of the Alpha is.

 

4. Instead of ranting and trying to stop new players from buying into the Alpha (do you really think you'll make a difference when 1.5 million people already have?), try being useful to the community and Dev Team by reporting the bugs in a constructive manner. 

 

5. The Devs priority right now is making sure the engine itself is running stable, this doesn't involve information being lost. That will most likely be sorted at Beta. Try and be a grown up and have patience.

 

6. If you can't do that: Go play Rust until DayZ is declared Beta. Stops useless posts like these from polluting the forums.

He's not being an asshole, he's perfectly right. You paid for early access to a game that is a long, long way from completion. You were warned many, many times about that. Yet apparently that still didn't prevent you from coming on here and crying your eyes out because parts of the game are incomplete.

 

Posting a ranty, crying thread on the forums and calling those that explain the situation to you 'assholes' does nothing to resolve the situation other than annoy your fellow community members - if this is the height of what you have to contribute to DayZ and the community, I'd rather you didn't bother. You want to spend time registering on these forums, arguing with people and bitching and whinging in this thread about bugs, but spending 30 seconds registering on the bug tracker to help report and log the occasions when it's happening is a waste of your oh-so-valuable time? Solid logic right there.

In over 100 hours I've been reset maybe three or four times, clearly you are doing something wrong.

Or at least you would think so.
