Sorry for the delayed response, I totally meant to say "isn't" possible when I mentioned expanding past borders... hell of a typo lol. Yeah, they said they can't for the reasons you gave. It was meant it just be a question about adding landmass to the ocean area, which I assume wouldn't cause the same issues as expanding the borders.

I know that expanding the map beyond the current borders is going to happen, but have you or the team talked about possibly filling in the ocean more? Much like how the coast in the real world influence is a river? I know that BI already has a map that has that layout. (I forget if it's Bystrica or Bukovina) Would it be possible to do something like that to increase playable area (post 1.0)? Especially if we start to see high population caps on the servers. EDIT: I mean't "isn't" going to happen in regards to expanding the map... Fail.

I know they have mo-cap of the eating animation. I remember seeing it when they did the dev blog on it a long time ago. We are starting to see the fruits of that, hopefully we will get animations like you talked about soon :)

Ah, thanks. Forgot which DLC it was added in, and yeah, it was more vibrant. Kind of a spring feel. I know there is a "Summer" version of Chernarus, maybe we will see that when the implement more of a weather/time cycle (maybe calendar would be more accurate)

Me too. Should be pretty far off-shore IMHO, but I would love to see them utilize all that ocean. There is a map in AllInArma that is Cherno and Elektro but the ocean is just a river with land on the other side, always thought that would be cool too, just turn the ocean into a river and develop more land down south.
