Ankhenaten 111 Posted February 12, 2014 Logged in after exiting here, http://dayzdb.com/map/chernarusplus#7.040.037 prone close to a tree. Massive wait on the server to log in. Then I heard a short burst of a voice. wait wait wait ... "You are dead" ... What killed me? The TreeA zombie or player (server had about 7 player on) When I logged out before this happened I was not involved in a fight, no zombies were near and I moved on this server to that position from http://dayzdb.com/map/chernarusplus#7.018.032 looted and exited peacefully. hells high 676 Posted February 12, 2014 (edited) That is one of the worst places you can log, lots of traffic on low pop servers from hoppers and timid looters. As far as I remember from the Mod, the incoming chars get somehow moved to nomans land and then you move to your position. After I heard the voice it was still 2 minutes until i saw the dead message. It was wait or something like that. But I hear you. I was fully kitted (aka bored) so I moved to NW to die anyway. Once suicide from a lighthouse and once a guy came in axe wielding on me being newly spawn and once I tried out how long it takes to punch kill zombies. Ankhenaten 111 Posted February 12, 2014 Just trying to figure out if it was the tree. I usually go close to a tree. If you log in, you stand. That's really the thing which would be new. That zeds or players are close you kinda know and you would expect to see what is happening. Insta death seems odd.
