Yeah I guess this ends the argument, if the devs dont want pvp to be encouraged. Hey, there is no other game like dayz, people tell me to go to another game and pvp, but its never gonna be the same. I dont know why dayz has fun pvp, but it just does. My best memories of this game was 1 year ago, when everyone spawned on the south coast. You got togheter with your friends and went to meet up at kamenka or komarovo. Then went up to the pavlovo military base for gear, further up to zelenogorsk for more gear, then Vybor into northwest airfield. Often finding alot of people on that route. And when you didnt wanna fight at the NWairfield, you went to balota. Balota was guaranteed hot spot, it was crazy. Then they started changing spawn locations to southeast coast, made it harder to get to balota and the general west side of the map. Basically made elektro into the go to hotspot, which was awesome. I literally spent hundreds of hours in elektro killing other fully geared people + fresh spawns. That was the good old days, then for every patch after that, the hotspots became less populated in general... In current state of the game, I dont feel there is much more to do than to pvp. Maybe in the future when the game is more polished and not in alpha the survival part is gonna be awesome. I can only hope. I actually want zombies to be a bigger part of the game aswell, more different zombies, stronger zombies, weaker zombies and zombie bosses...

Wow, you both are the exact example of my whole point, I do not complain or tell you how you should play the game. But YOU are telling me that my playstyle is wrong and that anyone who want it easy is in the wrong game and stop crying. I am saying that the game needs to be cattered towards both action player and survival, not only survival. Dayz is a great pvp game... Anyways, you misunderstood me, I assume I just cant type very well. So I will leave it at that :|

You are ignorant, do you even know why everyone bought dayz and the game got hyped in the first place? because it was a great pvp game. But then they decided to move dayz away from easy weapons, food and fighting, towards "harsh survival" which went against why dayz was popular in the first place. I guess there is people like you who enjoy running around all over the map "surviving/exploring" and meeting 1 other person after 3 hours of gameplay. Me personally disagree with that playstyle, if people wanted to do that they could and can, but let us "crybabies" who enjoy fighting each other have it easy and fun at the coast. Basically the reason pvpers want to play on the coast is not to kill freshspawns,but when I die and play with friends, I prefer being able to meet up with them within 10 minutes, not spend 40 minutes alone running to the northwest airfield, where my friends are waiting. I would complain more, but since its alpha, I really cant. So why is their weirdos here on the forums complaining on how we want to play the game in an action easy fast matter? I never complained or try to stop you guys from running away from the coast, but you guys dont like us being on the coast.. sigh. So this messege is not completely aimed at you personally, more like a general direction towards people who think like you.

To be honest... Even when there was a log in sound aka your gun reloading. Most people didnt even hear it or realise it. Because I always logged into a building and then check through the walls to see if anyone is upstairs and they never even realised I was below them.

Yes, hackers will always be a part of games, but the amount can be reduced. At the moment in dayz, it feels like everyone is hacking. If you go to northeast airfield or berezino on any server that says 2 hour restart / always daylight with 40/40 players. I can gaurantee you 100%, you will find a hacker. Most common place in berezino is near the police station and in northeast airfield its inside the military building walls.

You are wrong. The last couple of days ive seen tons of hackers. They use speedrun, teleport, shoot/see through walls and infinite ammo. Berezino and northeast airfield is where ive seen them.

Yes, add an golden color spray can so noobs can golden their weapon if they want to, dont make it standard color... looks shit.

Guys, me and my friend just got killed by a teleport hacker few minutes ago. It is real. Everyone know hackers have micropenises, so you are not fooling anyone with using hacks to show how big of a dick you are.

Your ideas suck.. the current 5 minute is horrendous and too long. Needs to be reduced to maximum 2 minutes. This is alpha, the game is made for server hopping. If you get shot everything in your inventory get ruined and unusable and there is no loot respawn. If they keep the current timers and damaged gear, they need to implement loot respawn asap.

These 3 people says its very dangerous to log in next to or inside military buildings.

Bullets are found in residential areas, like in zelenogorsk, elektro and cherno, they are in any building basically, look through them all.

Rofl, ive done extended testing on knocking out myself, my friends and random people. Average hits to knock someone out is 1-3 hits... always been.

This is why people think the game is played out in the same storyline, or atleast the same timeline: Yes, everything happened 2009, who knows what year it is now.

It always took 3 times, sometimes you were lucky to knock out in less, sometimes the person also had less health which is the reason they got knocked out in one punch.

I suggest that you log on an empty server and crawl to the closest zombie in the airstrip, usually always outside hangars.
