Have scopes been removed from the game?

I found an Acog scope but for the strangest reason its labeled as "ACOG® optics test" why is that?

Heh I know the feeling. Dragging burlap sack with me....hoping for rope to create courier backpack, only to never find the damned rope :-/.

i find rope all the time in that warehouse building with the stairs up and around the outside edge, ya know the one that opens both ends...

 

For me, it was the other way around.

 

Carried a rope with me, couldn't find a burlap sack. Found a second rope, then a backpack. Got attacked by a zombie, backpack and ropes, all ruined.

 

Dropped the ropes and found me a new backpack. All this time, a burlap sack was not to be seen.

i find burlaps often in the orange brick building with the rooms on either side of the central hallway..

 

Finally found a LRS other night of all places the self storage sheds it was worn ....

 

They say the loot is random i say its bloody demonic it knows what you want and doesnt spawn it till one day it finally does then the next 4 or 5 places you check it keeps spawning them now that you already found it LOL.

Those Self storage shed's I find are mini gold mine's good source of PU Scope's, bipods and strangely there's usually a can or two of food.

 

I found my LRS in NWAF shortly after restart, unfortunately the "survivor" who "bought" it to me didn't make it tho, almost felt guilty taking a single item, but then.. it was the the reason I was there so I left once I had it.

Also, scopes be rare. And server hoppers make them even rarer.

Found one today at a military base (just short after i dropped my sks and all the ammo for an m4 "because i was totally frustrated searching for hours for a single scope :(  )
