[Suggestion] Land/Air Vehicles wanted in the SA!?

Figured we could start to vote now and help the devs by showing what we want that way when vehicles become a reality they will know what models the community is really looking for!

 

Personal wants:

 

Land Rover Defender 110 and 90

  Lots of customization like roof racks lights etc to be found they are also made in diesel so that could be an upgraded engine to find!  Also military uses so maybe find a machine gun mount?

 

Jeeps

 Old or new wranglers again lots of parts to be found for these

 

HMMWV

 Would be the rare western vehicles etc finding armor doors gun mounts etc...

 

not sure on Russian vehicles but deffinatley some of those civilian and military

 

Large transport trucks half tons dueces etc

 

Huey, Blackhawk, Mi-8s Chinooks just a nice mix of military civilian aircraft.

I want them all, but realistically speaking, I don't think that we'll get much. If you remember how it was in DayZ mod before private hives and mods to the mod, that is how I am pretty sure it is going to be. You'll see a car drive by maybe two times in a week and once per month if you're lucky you'll spot a heli far far away.

 

If we are talking dreamland here, then I'd like to see some planes as well. At least An-2. Cars - UAZ 469 and UAZ 452 and totally pink pony dreamland my personal favorite BRDM-2.

I definitely wanna see personal gyro copters , maybe some broken down helicopters that take forever to repair and are hard to upkeep . We don't want it to be like a military sim again so rarity is key . Maybe also some side by sides ( if you don't know what I mean , search Polaris side by side) cuz their rugged and can fit up to four people .

I would LOVE as many vehicles and all the customization possible, don't get me wrong. BUT, if all these big new vehicles are to be practical, then we are going to have to do something that the devs may be squeamish about. We need to start building into the debug plains. A bigger map is neccesary

i hope the level

of customablility means we could turn a normal humvee into an SOV by removing panels. The same could be true for land rovers ans UAZ 469s

I'd really like to see very BASIC vehicles in the game.  What I mean by this is, nothing better than a jeep for ground movement, nothing better than a dingy for water movement, and honestly, in my opinion, absolutely no air vehicles.  Should there be bicycles? - sure.  That's a great vehicle to have during the apocalypse, but anything that holds a HUGE advantage over a survivor who has a gun and can defend him/herself but is still worthless because of some stupidly decked out or fast moving vehicle would ruin the "desperate survival" aspect of the game.

Again, in my personal opinion, it would cause the game to go from having someone think out every move carefully to the thought of "GET TO THE CHOPPA" constantly.

I can see what you mean about not thinking if you have a helicopter, that's why they need to use the TOH controls and flight models. You could run out of electricity, fuel, and oil. The helicopters can also be shot down with one well placed shot. So the people on the are yelling get to the chopper, I'll be yelling at them to secure the LZ or I'm not landing.

Lots of battered Russian/Czech/Yugoslav vehicles. Anything left behind by NATO/UN should be very rare and utterly trashed when found.
