Just got shot, fell unconscious, woke back up and then crawled away.

I was in a building opposite the berezino school and i got shot by a sniper from the school roof, heard the mosin and knew what was coming, screen goes blank and i fall unconcious but after 30 seconds my screen came back my character was able to crawl away out the back and leg it for safety.

 

This was not a bug. I was shot through my ballistics vest and my jumper and all the items in there were ruined but i was alive and not bleeding although my screen was grey.

 

is this a new feature from the patch because if it is i like it.

Was it just shock??

 

I have never had anything so epic happen to me since i started playing this game.

I think the ballistic vest did save you from the bullet, although the shock from the bullet itself must have knocked you out.

I took a Mosin round square to the chest earlier from maybe 50 yards. Screen went grey, character grunted, I ran. When I was safe I check myself out. The only thing that was ruined was my red flanel shirt. It had two SKS quick loaders in the pockets. One was still pristine, the other was worn. Go figure.

Vest blocked the bullet. Your shock level passed your blood level, causing you to pass out. Eventually the shock level went from just over the blood level to just under it, and you woke up.

I hope this is something they stick with and expand on. It'd be cool to see the likes of rubber bullets for shotguns, doing minimal damage but leading to incapacitation for a short time.

Where exactly did you find your ballistics vest?  Or are you talking the regular assault vest?

Hey guys don't wanna break this thread but i have one question. Exactly the same happened to me and my friend today. We got into a firefight with a stranger. We hit him so he died and he hit us so we both fell unconscious. I woke up about 30 seconds later and my friend was still unconscious but he could move. When he pressed X his character was ducking when pressing Z/Y he laid down. I tried to revive him by Epi, Saline and Defi. Everything was done successfully but my friend's screen was still black telling " You are unconscious". Is this kind of bug? 

 

Another thing was that my screen is going totally grey even im not bleeding, thirsty, sick or starving. Friend of mine suffered the same yesterday and died some minutes later. What is the reason for this?

Same thing happened to me.

 

I had full blood before hand thought. (I think, as I had healing on before hand and it was only Healthy status up).

 

Nice to know it was from the tactical vest !

 

What vests can protect like this?
