Did something with the lighting change ?

My game seems alot darker now and the sun doesnt have as much glare as it did before.

 

I have not touched any settings and the only thing that could have changed was something in the latest patches.

 

Anyone else noticed this?

 

And its ALWAYS sunny, is it supposed to be sunny all the time?

Where is the weather that I hear others get.

I've had my settings get reset after a patch before. You might wanna check your settings, specifically cloud settings.

Checked all that prior to making this post.

 

Looks like it just might be the server I am playing on.

 

I switched servers and the lighting is fine, go back it and the lighting is wierd again.

I noticed it too man! Seems like maybe they added some dynamic weather? I really don't know. But I was thinking the same thing "Is my gamma way down or something?" But, it looks to me like these are intended weather effects

It's probably overcast/weather. Many servers were raining when the patch went up.

Dynamic weather is back , so the clouds etc play a role. 

 

I logged into one this afternoon at 1330 and it was pretty dark and overcast.

In the latest experimental (build 36), I got lighting and thunder :)  It was badass!! Never seen lighting or heard thunder in previous builds, just rain.

One of the last patches they added the weather back in and removed God Rays, God rays was the bloody bright glare from the sun.

I enjoyed the god rays. Its realistic on a setting sun. Just not when they went through buildings and stuff! I like the idea of setting up sniping with the sun behind you so ur harder to spot.

For me, it now rains a lot! Like it.

When the weather clears and sun shines, I can still see the shine of it even through frikkin buildings or hills.
