What is your most anticipated feature that is coming in?

I found in the mod that vehicles kind of ruined the map for me. Bicycles and most cars/trucks didn't so much but air vehicles certainly did. Made the map feel so much smaller but I guess it will do that eventually once I am familiar with all the new stuff.

 

Personally I want to see hunting, weather elements that are actually dangerous (namalsk would be my favorite map if it was larger) and base building/fortified houses.

 

 

I agree totally on air vehicles. Air vehicles serve to give 1 person/group of people the ability to destroy every camp and vehicle on the map in 1 play session. I should know.. My group on the mod controlled all 4 aircraft on a server for 4 months straight... and we were the only ones with any vehicles aside from the occasional ATV or motorbike. 

 

The only people who ever raided our base were hackers, until one of our friends eventually betrayed us and C4'd all of our stuff. In short: Heli's give supreme map control.

I actually like the "Horn of Gondor" idea...some kind of air-horn or a real horn...something to give far-reaching acustic signals with (no, not guns)...

 

I can imagine quite a lot of uses for that and tooting into someone´s ear while standing right next to them is not the first that comes to mind...though that would be f-ing amazing  :lol:

Okay my most antcipated feature.

 

Infections. Infections from drinking water from ponds, so we can finnaly use water puryfying pills for something.

I've been selling them as MDMA 2 can's of beans each one...

 make it so fuel is pretty scarce = sorted.

 

But yeah, I hope they never implement helicopters.

This is very good point. Maybe it was becouse those "camo" tents were actually sticking out and were visible from 1km from helicopter. Not even mentioning "camo" nets, those were useless too.

 

My quick idea to fix it is to make tents visible for player in heli only if they are like 10 meters away from tent or something.

 

PS.

 

And ofcours let's not forget that as50 and m107 (anti heli weapons) were removed from game, making helicopters overpowered.

Storage because my bags are full and I need a reason to keep looting.

Base building could be fun but I'm a loner so probably need a team to do this.

Smoke grenades to hide from those snipers!

First of all, Zombies, Their number and A.I fixed

 

2nd: Hunting/Cooking.

 

I think it's important to make things like physics stable before one add alot of content. make sure ladders/stairs dont kill you etc. and feed us with a few new minor things such as the radio (Which I LOVE! and i wish it would have some sort of attachment so you can broadcast your voice all over the land, which would ofc require more channles, maybe "local" and "Global", or you could plug it into green mountain and broadcast all over. if you survive the axemen and the curse that lay upon that hill....) 

 

also I cant wait for a tent. but I belive there's a chance that the ammount of "elektro snipers" will increase when everyone is stacking piles of guns and ammo in their tents and just run back and get em when they die. but I really want a tent, a small camp up north to escape to and store your food..

Will we ever get to use spray cans to scrawl graffiti on walls? Or use pen and paper to leave notes around the place or draw maps?

I most anticipate in order from most to less anticipated

- zombie fixes (increase numbers, difficulty, respawns and general bugginess)

- loot respawns

- server persistance (tents)

- richer status effects

- hunting

I could actually go either way on the last two...

Awsome. Can you draw as well? Can't imagine that'd be too hard to implement.

More survival aspects for me. Things such as crafted bows, animals to hunt, cooking, weather that can be dangerous to you if you don't seek/create shelter. The ability to not only use tents as storage but also as shelter from the elements would be really cool imo

 

I would also like to see something along the lines of a poncho that you can wear over your gear(by this i mean it does not replace your shirt slot) to keep yourself dry when it rains heavily.

I don't see how horses could be a serious issue but I am not familiar with the games engine. I like a few others ideas about the tents/camps. I did not play the mod so I am unfamiliar with how it works as well. Okay, so I build a camp on X Road side and player B builds camp on said road side an both players are on at the same time.. Then what? I realize the odds are slim but could happen. Sorry to get off topic

definately core game mechanics regarding survival aspect: hunting, cooking, weather sickness and shelter, More Zeds, appropriate Zed pathing (no more glitching through walls ), more improvised crafting such as bows & arrows, fishing poles, torches, traps, shelters for rain (deerhide roof you can sit under), campfires, etc..

Thinking along the lines of tents above all else. We need a place to stockpile rations and munitions, to resupply from. Right now as it is, it seems like we are all living by the sword in Chenarus, Would be great if we were at least able to resupply on rations before setting out to gear up.
