Recommended Posts

Hi,

Please do not to get into the KOS/Bandit/Bullet Waste debate, why is this happening and is there a way to prevent it waiting for a potential fix ?

It's a known issue and was brought up to Rocket directly in one of his live streams.

[rage]No and it's pissing me off!!!

Too many Zombies should have died and I've not found many SKS bullets yet.  Running low.

And not only that, bullets collide when you are in cover under a pinetree at it's leaves, at least with a shotgun, i tried to sneak up on two bandits and when i had perfect shot my bullets just went into the trees leaves.

If you go into 3PP then you will see that the barrel of your gun is actually in the ground it occurs in places and appears in 1PP that your aiming properly.

Window Licker cheers bud I'll try and look into that.

Does the ATLAS bipod helps ?

Haven't find one for ages, cannot really tell.

Not entirely.  I'm always in FP when aiming long distances. 95% of time bullet in the ground :(

AFAIK: atlas doesn't change it.

Doc, Try putting your sight's on the target in 1PP and then switch and see if its still out of the ground, I've experienced it sniping from rock's etc and all I did was move back/forward until it wouldn't clip like that anymore when aiming for the lowest "target area"

Will do as soon as I find more bullets, me thinks it's a bit broken and I am patient enough to crouch until fix comes in.

Fasle. All I play is 3PP and my bullets hit the ground while prone, crouched, and standing. My gun is not facing the ground. Its just dodgy.

It is broken and annoying in general. I'm so scared of it, I don't shoot while prone anymore.

Its not simply player error, if that's what you're saying.

That may be true in some cases but it doesn't change the fact that projectiles ARE clipping grass and other invisible objects. I was crouched on a simple grass slope with a clear view of my target from 30m and my shots were clipping the ground right at eye level, despite my mosin barrel being 3 feet from the turf with no impediments.

Its def easier to recreate while prone, but can occur from a crouch as well. Fix is coming though!

No it does not help. Even with the bipod deployed you may end up hitting the ground in front of you.

I've had it clip while prone but once I moved slightly it worked ok. It would be a bit of a bitch if you were trying to get the jump on someone. I usually try sniping zombies on a low population server to see what works.

@Paradogz... Found a pristine bipod in a garage last night. They are still out there. Dispite bipod you can still clip.
