Daemonkid 493 Posted February 5, 2014 So, the way bleeding works right now..Well, it sucks. It straight up sucks. You do not jet out a stream of blood like this. When blood does come out of the body at a high pressure, it means an main artery has been struck. Sometimes I even bleed 3 feet from me and it jets out of my back pack! No. Please, I don't want to see this in the full release. What I am suggesting is remove the blood spew. Keep the "I'm dripping blood" notifier. But cause the player to leave small low texture puddles of blood and give clothing a blood texture when bleeding.It should be small at fist only effecting the area where hit. If you let the bleeding continue for a long enough time more and more of your clothing should be affected by this texture. Your green TTSKO pants are now a brown and dingy red in spots, making you clothing dirty and has a chance of transffering disease if not cleaned. preacherlr 614 Posted February 5, 2014 I like the idea of blood textures on clothing, But I think half the reason for " Spewing blood " Is so it's easily noticeable, IRL if you bleed it's as simple as something's hurting, Take a look, Oh look, Blood! Hit the nail on the head. It's mainly so that you can easily tell if yourself or others are wounded. I think bloody clothing models a-la ArmA 3 would seem a bit more polished though.
