Btw, i think that if they manage to resolve the issue with combatlogging, and serverhopping, things could get better fast, ppl often combatlog cause of fear of geting killed, and this made escalade things so 90% of players would kill on sight, so i hope things will get better, sure is, when i'll see someone starting to sit on the ground, ill give him 2 sec to stand up.

Killing fresh spawns could be considered a good survival strategy if you think about it, because letting them roam around and collect gear probably increases the chances of them killing you.

On a serious note, once again, running around the coast looking for bambis and expecting not to get killed...how naive are you exactly?

Well you are right, what i'm saying is that in certain cases, ppl just KoS fresh spawns for trolling or to try the thrill of beeing a bad guy, thing is theyr not even close to that, cause meanwhile, mommy is calling for din din...

"no pvp" servers are going to be packed with people trying to kill you.  Rightfully so, there's no rules about killing people, so if admins put that crap in the title of their server, they deserve to be overrun with bandits.

 

Just stick to regular servers, no need to paint a huge target on your back by joining 'no pvp' ones.

I'd argue the opposite - it teaches them that they should automatically shoot first and ask questions later, meaning that if you happen to bump into them when they're geared up, they're much more likely to blow you away rather than just let you be (or even offer help).

 

Of course, having said that, the idiots that will run up to a fully geared player with their fists raised? Man, shoot those guys all day long, because you know what kind of player they're going to be once they get a gun in their hands. :p

Haha, my very first time logging into Rust I was approached by 2 armed guys. They said hey are you new to the game? As soon as I started to reply with, "Yes," my body was filled with about 20 bullets. Maybe that was my initiation? Anywho think about it, if it was real life zombie apocalypse and you were running around in the world solo and managed to see another human. Do you honestly think you would approach them and make friends? Even the maker of this games says it would be nothing without, bandits/dumb players. That's what makes the game fun I think. This game gets you going better than any horror game ive played.  

 

And yes I have been back stabbed a few times in DayZ. But I still continue to play the way I want. Best advice ever: Don't get attached to your gear.

Yes, yes I would actually. Because Day Z is absolutely nothing like real life, and the two are pretty much incomparable. In real life, there wouldn't be M4 carbines lying around in schools, you most likely will die if you go drinking from ponds on the side of the road, and, most importantly, you don't respawn in real life. In an actual, real life situation comparable to Day Z, all the KOS players would be either driven out or killed by the so-called "carebears", when they get tired of the Balota Ass-Bandits shit.

Also, in real life, human beings require social interaction. It is an essential part of our psyche, and without some form of social interaction, we (with the exception of a very few individuals) go insane. So, after a few days of wandering through the woods, you would be FUCKING OVERJOYED to see another living, breathing human being. I did a 3-week wildnerness trek in northern Maine a couple of years back, and even after only a couple of days, I almost broke into tears when I met another person on the trail.

Many people play this game with varying degress of experience, also age.

When I imagine a real life Chernarus I imagine zombies being a significant threat to a lone survivor. This is not yet the case in DayZ.

 I was in that little subdivision north of Cherno at the supermarkets once, and I got mobbed by literally 10+ zombies at once.

It was a threat...

 

When the number of zombies in the game gets up to where the team wants it to be, they will be a problem. It got to the point that I actually consider avoiding that area now depending on the situation..

One at a time is no big deal.

 

Someone mentioned in a thread a while ago if the devs could implement a randomly spawning roaming horde of zombies, like 100+ that just wander the map in this giant herd. That would be amazing... or not amazing, to run into.

1. Do not run at people screaming ''friendly'', especially if they are carrying firearms.

 

2. Do not join ''PVE'' servers thinking that you're safe from players. PVE servers are a delusion.
