What is with weather ingame, rain clouds storm blizzards? I saw rain only one time on some server and it was awesome, and never again after that

Weather was attempted in a few servers, but caused issues and was temporarily removed. It'll likely return in the patch after the early February one.

I remember when I first started playing the DayZ SA on day 1, it was raining here and there.  Was kinda glitchy it seemed.  And well, any buildings you may be in, the rain would just magically come through the the roof/ceiling.

I Rain was and is amazing, going through the new cities north of Cherno while it was raining was something else. I took a ton of screen shots and cuddle them when I go to sleep in hope of seeing rain again.

I would diffidently like to see some really bad storms and stuff like that maybe even snow? Have the body temp meter come back.

Snow would require the map to be completely restarted so it's a no-go IIRC.

 

Wind, rain, storms all that kind of stuff would be nice once temperature is working correctly though.

Hope that someday there would be servers dedicated to a single season. For example, one would be snowy while others would be like spring.

If the team went to the trouble of making the map again from scratch it would be so that they were able to implement seasons. I think they would rather have them on a cycle than lock a server to a season though.

BIS who make DayZ SA also make VBS3 which has procedural snow.

 

But don't hold your breath features which start in VBS take Years to come to the public games like Arma and dayz

On stable branch I have experienced weather twice, but only twice. The first was simply rain, the second was extremely thick cloud (think storm clouds) that made me need to use my torch, turning off clouds actually made it a sunny day.  :lol:

 

When I logged in to experimental for the first time yesterday it was raining. I wonder if I'll see it again.

Rocket said that rain caused some performance issues/server lags and was disabled. Will return when it's running smooth (hello beta, then.)
