When are we going to see music?

When are we going to see music? I remember in the mod it was terrifying when I was a new player. I turned it off about 3 months into the game when I started becoming more serious, but holy shit I've been listening to the music on Youtube and it's fantastic,

Please add the mod music into the Standalone! It's so amazing.

Sadly my friend, probably never. In one of Deans streams he and brian both mention that they dont know if music fits with the "realism" they are going for. I for one think its bull. People that don't want music can just lower the volume. I love the music personally.

I think it would be neat to find Mp3 players and headphones, of course it would muffle out surrounding noises (zeds, environments, players) but it would be cool to have older area related music pre-loaded onto them, of course you would need those good old batteries!

.. unless the devs add in a battery powered MP3 player of some sort you can loot.  Maybe this would be an idea.. ?

Just said that a while ago :P

I think it would be cool especially to have to find headphones for it as well, thus muffling the environment and other players leaving you more open to attack, of course the MP3 player would be pre-loaded with classical music ;)

I like the fact that there is no music. It creates tension, I find it brings me into the game.

Even if there isnt music, Ill be happy once the random noises stop.(If theyre going to)  I hear the sound of someone drinking, combining stuff in their inventory, etc more than ever it feels like lately.

The ammo loading and soda are the scariest ones... random place in the woods and you hear a soda can pop open..

I loved that 20 too :) I was terrifying:)

 

I hope they will bring it back some day!
