Just -- let's no overdo it. Light gore all the time is reasonable. But 10% of the time, gore should be outrageous, and should be used sparingly so as to not lose its effect.

Way more than 10%...60% would be more realistic. Have you forgotten that the game revolves around getting shot, stabbed, cut, and ripped to shreds by zombies?

Since this is only a "I dream of..." thread, I add more:

 

I want Zombies ripping or biting out flesh, guts and brains of chars they killed. (btw. Why is everybody suspecting that zombies eat brains? I don't get that. How do they open the skull? And I never saw that in a movie happen. So no brains. Maybe eyes? Birds often go for the eyes of dead animals as well... ;))

Visible. With blood. When somebody gets shot, i want blood coming out and splattering the goddamn wall behind him (or even better: the person behind him ;))

 

...so many possibilities, so long to wait and see what gets implemented and so few blood...

Would love to have bllod spatter stay in the world, after combat and all thoose things.

But adding much more gore, could potentially make the game illegal in many contires :)

Austalia is a good example, they are fucking strict about this stuff.

 

Anyway, lets give it all we got a go full Postal style gore :D

I agree more gore or the option to increase the gore setting would be a good effect for the game especially when you are hitting a zombie with a firefighters pristine axe and you get tiny amount of blood and no decapitations.

It hopefully will be added as the game progresses, imagaine someone hits you with an axe you lose a arm or leg then have to burn the wound and then survive missing that body piece lol, when they added the ragdoll effect it will be more fun anyways just watch you don't trip on the stairs or hope you have alot of morphine or splints
