Caboose187 (DayZ) 3036 Posted April 2, 2015 Stop trying to play the game like it's call of battlefield tournament and the movement is fine.
S3V3N 1402 Posted April 2, 2015 You might wanna widen your FOV a bit in Dayz. It's under video options, just like in Arma. When it gets too narrow I get nausea, too.But yeah the movement inside some of the houses feels like rolling a big ball through a maze while you're drunk.Try finding a tent in Cherno's apartments! You get a free dizzy spin.
sneakydudes 278 Posted April 2, 2015 Hello there Ive played the RV engine in many games and sims, from OFP and VBS to DAYZ and Arma3. Whilst controlling ones avatar has improved and the way your avatar is actually there that lifts the the RV engine above other games I still think avatar control sucks big bottoms. If you have a decent machine and get good FPS then that removes many of the perceived issues, but IMHO movement/control is not great for the end user. I can cope with it. But id rather that I felt more in control. Rgds LoKThe controls are wrong, period. I know what they are trying to do, but over all the controls are wrong. I went from Dayz to Arma 3 and its night and day. I am not asking to do a DFA on your head, I am asking to do a simple request from 1 to pull out #1 weapon slot, not SLAM #1 15 times before it responds. Or if you hit c it hits c over and over after you hit stand up and run. A good system doesn't deserve this abuse. I agree with many on the poor performance this has, and any think .55 is right, your wrong its way by far completed. Would be nice to see the final game play though then really compare. I am old school gamer, before many on this forum even where born. So I do know what normal keyboard functions are.
therandomredstone 432 Posted April 2, 2015 The game's feel will not change for some time. But things should feel more weighty and free later on in development.
