colbykid 61 Posted January 30, 2014 (edited) I think Dayz should have Zombie HORDES. Until now, The most danger comes from humans. But this game is about the earth after zombie apocalypse, right? Ghostflux 100 Posted January 30, 2014 From what we've seen so far the infection only applies to humans. Making zombie animals means that you would need to make zombie models for every type of animal. RickJones 16 Posted January 30, 2014 Agreed with dangerous wildlife; As for zombie horses, or any other animals, it all comes down to what exactly turned humans/dead humans into zeds...Is it something like TWD virus? Or the Resident Evil one? Or maybe the "28 Days Later" one.... All of these have specific parametres on how they affect their victims.This would require a lot of coding; adjusting animal running speed, behaviour, sounds... Throwing feces and stealing bananas...and brains. And Zombie hordes roaming around / in the cities are on the devs roadmap afaik. They often attack humans, whether they're starving or not. Specially when they're in packs...
