Do you suffer from "Pristine Fever"?

Recommended Posts

Man, I know I do. If an item isn't pristine, it feels, well, dirty. Every second I'm wearing a shirt with more pockets than my old one that's not pristine, gives me anxiety. I don't even bother picking up a pair of shades unless that tantalizing emerald green text spells out P-R-I-S-T-I-N-E below the name. Food? Bleh! I'd rather starve to death than eat anything less than pristine meals!

I hope I'm not the only one suffering from this horrible malady.

I would find this funny if you didn't use hashtags

Me too!

It matters!

A pristine clothes can save you from bleeding when hit once maybe twice by a zombie.

Everyone should get used to eating pristine food only because it's gonna matter soon.

A ruined can of bean will most likely get you sick when the conditions for food are working.

I Value a orange raincoat more than even an M4. I dont care about the condition its in.

I like the ragged worn out survivor look...you millgear fans can Keep on wearing those green/Brown stuff and all look the same... :D

I prefer things to be Worn. To me that means it has worked before.

Edit: Just like my women

I like the raincoats too. It just feels like something I personally would find myself wearing in the apocalypse.

While you worry about how you want to stand out individually, properly cameoflaged bandits will probably close up to you without you even knowing. It's a case of survival, not fashion.

no, because i don't even know what difference it makes if it's pristine or badly damaged. or even ruined. scopes are the only thing where i've seen an actual difference.

when your backpack is shot and ruined, it should spill all it's content to the ground. same thing with anything that has "slots". i thought that ruined items are unusable, but nope.

i shoot pristine things, because shiney new stuff is suspicious. except for optics. i can bear a pristine scope for a while.

All the "bandits" you refer to..i have never seen them ( probably because they where SOOOOOOO well camo´ed lol, not )..only douchbags in Groups, and we saw them from a mile away ;)

I dont belive in camo. Sorry brosef...Just because we wear raincoats dosent mean we cant fight back. We just have a different mindset about what this game has to offer... ;)

I don't obsess about it but I do prefer better conditions items as guns are more accurate and wearable have better protection. That's about it. The only time I'll trade a better conditioned item for one worse off is going from any secondary weapon to a fire axe.
