Does going prone improve accuracy with a rifle at all?

Recommended Posts

Standing - Meh

Crouch - Alright

Prone - Better

Prone with deployed bipod - Best

bipod is only effective deployed when used prone. obviously the given situation at the time will determine whether or not you have the time / space to actually utilize it

the lower to the ground you are the more steady your rifle will be. esp prone with bipod

It makes your aim steadier, it doesn't improve the precision.

Going prone with a bipod improves the precision, but doesn't make your aim steadier.

Go figure.

How does one deploy the bipod?

Mine just stays limp against the barrel. Or is that enough to effect the game?

in real world bipod help because is heavy thing it reduce some recoil if you deploy because centre of gravity is closer to end of gun similar like compensator

just have bipod help recoil deploy should improve but I don't know if they add this detail to standalone

when is prone it should make aim very steady like almost zero motion but like gews saying it don't ;)

for me if they going to trouble to model this shit they need to change code to reflect real world affect of this item

I have heard that crouching while bi-pod is deployed gives you slightly more stability less of course than while prone. I don't know if you have to be crouched near an object or just crouching anywhere and it will work. Be nice to find out if anyone knows if this works or not thank you kindly.
