He has the answer and you cant put it in the chest holster i would guess cause it a FUCK load bigger than a pistol i have suggested before that with crafting you use rope on sawn off to make an under the arm slung sawnoff.

Only if you can make that holster yourself as craftable lol cause i dont see( specially not in eastern europe) a pre made side holster designed for a sawn off but you could craft one perhaps or convert something else to work as one...

The concept of a sawn-off is pretty cool. I just used mine for about 3 days. Killed 8 or so people with one.

 

My findings lead me to believe they are a bit more useless than a non-sawn-off. Again, the concept is really cool, and I feel like a badass with one, but the damn thing is really inaccurate. I took 2 shots at someone's head roughly 10 meters in front of me while they were moving and completely missed. I've also taken other shots at players from 5 meters to 15 and have missed. For me, it's just too unpredictable. I wish they'd at least make it have the ability to be holstered. If you found two shotguns you could at least use it as a backup pistol when you couldn't find one. As a primary though, I really don't recommend sawing it off.

Hopefully they fix the ability to draw weapons out of your backpack. It's kind of silly that I have an m4, sawed-off, pistol and fireaxe at the push of a button, yet the only thing slightly visible is the m4. It's almost like a GTA game where you can carry around 20 large weapons and tens of thousands of rounds of ammo on your person.

 

I'm all for letting people carry multiple weapons, but to pull them out of a backpack instantly is just too much.

A sawed off shotgun shouldn't be a secondary. If anything they are primary just modified for extreme CQC. A double barrel shotgun in real life, especially hunting variants, are pretty effect for up to 100 ft with buckshot, more with slugs due to the length of them.

we actually tested the dispersion today shooting at a billboard at different distances, let's just say on a human sized target none of your pellets will hit at anything more than 10m.  Even at pointblank, standing next to a target only 3 of the 10 pellets hit.  Finally a friend volunteered, not wanting to kill him I stood about 30m away and shot half-hartedly at him, not one pellet hit.  Conclusion, a 10 slot secondary weapon with a tremendous recoil and huge dispersion, better off with a magnum.

 

Maybe once slugs spawn it might be better weapon.

My thoughts exactly. I really wanted to test the grouping and spread but had no volunteers. The live bambi test subjects did give me the information I needed though :) I'm glad to hear i'm not the only one with unfortunate findings. 

 

Since the patch, I have not been able to find any slugs at all. I'm sticking to the regular shotgun for now.

It's useless in general right now. it doesn't affect draw speed and it lets everyone know you have a gun.

I spawned with a previous character who I had collected both slugs and pellets with in anticipation of the shotgun patch, so I had lots of slugs in my inventory. Unfortunately you can't load the slugs into the shotgun.

I currently run with a magnum, FNX45, mosin, and sawn off. I have ammo for all of them. I have no plans to use the sawn off for anything and have never used it. Even so, i will continue to carry it around because it is awesome.
