What if DayZ ran on the Snowdrop Engine

Looks like any console game's engine.

It's being made by Massive which have pretty much never done anything before other than helping a little bit on Farcry 3. Now they are trying to make an MMO on a new engine; yeah good luck with that.

 

You can tell by the prerendered backround city in the clips that it isn't 100% open world and probably instanced areas looking at the map when they bring it up and the tunnel entrance in the pit they don't go in. Also none of the building they are walking past you can see in the windows so they are most likely not enterable. It's also a craptastic consoley hiding in cover blindfiring based shooter for bads who can't aim like GoW.

 

The game doesn't even have all that amazing of graphics for being an Ubisoft fake video on a brand spanking new game engine.

 

Ubisoft has pretty much NEVER made a good multiplayer game.

 

They also weren't even originally going to have it on PC so it's going to be a terrible console port.

 

The only thing it has going for it is you can shoot holes in stuff ... WOW!

Woah we got a first person only, ultra-realism elitist over here! As the saying goes, you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, so that must mean even more when said book is a year or more away from being released.

IE. Don't make judgements about a game/engine that you have never played nor have sufficient knowledge about.

But we DO know what happens when Ubisoft craps out these trailers of "early gameplay" and the full game is released...
