Best place to find a mosen

I've been playing this game for about a week or so, generally 5ish or more hours a day. I've found every possible item you can find with the exception of a mosen. What if any, is the best place to find this weapon? My friends say they run across them all the time, but im stuck with the M4.

I generally find weapons in the barracks' at the airfields, the back of cars, or in schools. I think thats what they are. The building with about 3 levels. Highest level, up there.

use the search function in the top right of the forums it will point you to a few of these threads already and in those threads are pages of people listing the locations the mossin can be found.

 

I like that you say your stuck with an M4, is a single fire bolt action riffle from WW2 really more suited to your style of play ?? when you find it will there be another thread where to find the long range scope??

 

Use forum search function its your friend so much info has been already listed down use it learn what it is you seek...

i used the search function, but i may have spelled mosin, mosen etc incorrectly. it is a school and yes i've found pretty much all types of guns there. I have a pristine scope. back of cars, hmmm didnt even know things could spawn in cars, though im rarely in places where there are cars.

Barns. I found a lot of Mosins in barns and other farm buildings (10-15 Mosins in the 50 hours or so I've played).
