Fix all the issues, but always search for inspiration. I assume a graphic artist is not going to fix a problem with coding anyway lol.

One of the ideas really well-depicted in the photographs is, yes, a riot shield. Aside from the possibility of being worn 'in hands'  to deflect melee and resist some small arms fire,

it would be great to have the 'stowed' position of the shield take up the same place as either a shouldered weapon or backpack and offer continuous protection to the back of the wearer at the expense of carrying capacity and visibility or 'primary shouldered weapon' .. this kind of thing would tie very well into a stamina system that takes weight of your gear into account.

 

here is some more civilian clothes and military gear mix from the eastern block

 

 

and it would be pretty good to have a telogreyka/watnik (black or green) because its one of the items of military gear thats proliferated into civilian wear..as well as a VDV jump cap.

People is fighting and dying for their rights while you do fashion statements on a game forum, i find this post offensive and frivolous.

 

Shame on you and whoever uncapable to see how wrong this is.

 

I'm really sorry this post was offensive to you or anybody here (involved in the uprising or not) and I do see – and respect – your point.

 

Even so, these people are geared to endure a fight for their beliefs,  they are in the streets because they want changes and they are willing to leave their homes and stand for them. We see art/content with the same kind of inspiration everywhere, everyday, in movies, other games, books, you name it.

 

So, I don't think its a shame to draw inspiration from this kind of situation, but I completely agree we should be respectfull about it. Maybe if I used the word "reference", instead of "inspiration", it would sound more apropriate, but that wouldn't really change the whole point.

Awesome photos.

I think that well protected people in the apocalypse would look like the guys in the photos, and military-geared people would be ultra-damn rare to see (in DayZ it should be end-game).
