kilak 1 Posted January 22, 2014 So i bought dayz yesterday, fully aware that it is an alpha and i was expecting a lot of bugs...not a problem that is what i signed up for. What i didn't expect to happen was that after 3 hours of game play the game crashes (fair enough it is an alpha) but when i re-start the game there are no servers. There is no problem with my internet, firewall, filter settings and when i try to join a friends game through the steam tab i get stuck on "wait for host". Something is clearly wrong. After reading up on it loads of people have had the same problem. I would have thought that it would have been fixed by now!? Especially after that patch but no i still can't access the game along with numerous others that can only look at a blank server screen instead of playing the alpha like everyone else. Best to go and make some toasted cheese and a big mug of hot tea and then come back in a little while and try again. & if you still cant get on? PANIC!!! kilak 1 Posted January 22, 2014 (edited) And yeah it's already rolled out where i am. All my mates are online now, i just can't join them because of this problem...again. And it's not just since they updated the servers. I haven't been able to see any servers on the list since DayZ crashed yesterday at around 8pm. My server is telling me its down till 830pm GMT but from what I heard from the server host people were turning them on while they were updating and it screwed a bunch of servers. kilak 1 Posted January 23, 2014 (edited) Still getting a blank server list... Update was awesome... I have seen numerous posts about this problem on other forums but none on here and no solutions. Has anyone else experienced this? If so did you fix it? And how if you did. In some cases it fixes itself and others it doesn't but this shouldn't be happening and I don't want to have to wait for it to do so.And just to add so we are clear as I think the above responses were a little confused. I knew about the update but this happened over 24 hours before the update started so has nothing to do with that! This problem is prior to the update yet still on going.
