So this is what i did , walk around aimlessly throughout the map. Found no food (died of starvation) 

 

Re-spawn , walked around the map (died from starvation) 

 

re-spawn , Walked/Ran around the map to the NE airfield hoping it would not be looted. It had been (died from starvation)

 

 

Seems to me , we need things to re-spawn. SOOooooo... I am going to relaunch steam and play the game on the old version , and actually find something. Not just wonder around and find nothing

Since there is no respawn of items, if one or more people have taken the same path ahead of you, then things will be potential all gone. NEAF is a popular destination.

Hiked inland, dying of starvation, found a supermarket which had been looted  :huh: 

 

Then by some kind of miracle we had a server reboot.... YAY fresh banana and a tin of tuna  :D

I'm on my 1st char still not finding huge amounts but more than enough to survive

Edit: i actually got thirsty after the start, the difficulty now is purrrrrfect! (imo) it's actually a survival game again

I found a rotten banana....and it didn't make me sick.  Still hungry though.

 

Plenty of jeans and athletic shoes to be found but nothing else on the server i was on.
