if you don't see that magic camera view which allow player to see without showing himself make easier kos play and give advantage to aggressive pvp playstyle you having logic short circuit problem :P

very one-sided, most of the polls usually are. You have a very unique why of getting your point across, so can you blame people having a stale reaction.

It's not like there hasn't been god knows how many topics & polls already, people just need to let it go and worry about the core of the game before any other discussion. I'm not insulting anybody but the 1st/3rd camps are starting to sound a lot like the steam forums at the moment.

Myself personally couldn't care less, but when it's blatant and bias too one side then it's just not a poll I'm afraid.

Why does looking behind corners cause a KoS gamestyle? If you look behind corners with Q or E in 1PP and see someone who doesn't see you, the KoSer will shoot him anyway, it doesn't matter if spotting the enemy is easy or hard, they kill anyway.

It's not what he was trying too put across is the fact with 3rd you would see something that in 1st you wouldn't or would just miss, so in some circumstances the encounter may or may not happen. Which could lessen kos, it's just another way of getting a bias opinion across.

I say very clear in OP sometime 3rd person view is in favour of friendly guy (player who dont look for kills) ;)

but when I used to play 3rd person I was getting sometime 30 - 40 kills in busy session

I die also but I didn't care because I didn't understand point of dayz in those days :huh:

3rd person was like Christmas present to me, it make see player very very very easy and I was ok to stay hide in house, on roof behind tree whatever, I was like kid in sweets shop with father credit card

now I play 1st person, I appreciate more beauty of deep survival experience but I keep passion for pvP

I don't kill 10% like I doing on 3rd person :|

tonight I play 3rd person for first time in months I stay elektro and kill 7 guys in 1 hour 20 nimutes

every one was using exploit of 3rd person :|

I feel like shitty cheat every time but I wanted again to experience how easy 3rd person make murder time

so point of this topic is to illustrate that we see same names bitch about KOS and next moment defend 3rd person :huh:

is complete no sense thing and they don't see irony

@Kos.

I totally understand where you're coming from, but as you know DayZ involves many playstyles. No matter how much this discussion comes up you will always have certain people which will not agree.

To be honest I'm on the fence about the hole 1st/3rd debate, sometimes I like the challenge of 1st and other times 3rd is just convenient for me. Each to their own.

is early alpha stage so why not?

alpha is time for experiment ;)

for me they miss big opportunity

they should have make early release 1st only and maybe put 3rd after they fix exploit

 

but they make silly mistake putting in 3rd because take away now will be problem

 

like crack addicts this easy mode guys have extreme fear anxiety of life without the drug :o

Ill play either, though i hate the blah  exploit blah too. Combat in first person, kicking about in third. We can do that any time we wish if it all stays a choice.

i'M 100% converted. I honestly have no interest in third person perspective (3pp:on) anymore. The mechanics of third person absolutely tip the scales of DayZ towards mindless deathmatching.

For anyone wondering, I'm an oldschool diehard TPS/third person deathmatch* shooter.

(*compared to Chernarus, could any of the "large" maps from other games feel like anything else?)

B this poll was made by someone who hates KOS as i read an erliear post of his

C Its either i love or hate which depending on the situation is just unreliable to actually get the answers.

D The OP is suggesting that third person view is increasing KOS *facepalm* how the F did anyone come to that conclusion and what evidence is there that even supports that theory.
