overdosed (DayZ) 77 Posted January 17, 2014 Man, how I wish that an autowalk and toggle sprint functions are implemented. There have been multiple instances where I would have to cross vast distances in the wilderness with little to no chance of encountering players when an autowalk function wouldve saved me much trouble and allowed me to actually do something with my hands without having to stop.

AmmokKDE 8 Posted January 17, 2014 You have to be pretty confident to post your cheating in the official forums!
faramon 66 Posted January 17, 2014 I wouldn't call the "usage of heavy objects to hold keys" as cheating ... silly and liable to eventually get you sniped while you don't look sure .. but cheating not really.
Wolfguarde 108 Posted January 17, 2014 Stack coins on the key until you can press it in and not have it pop back out. Viola! Autorun. Now go forth and make coffee or whatever.
Sinphaltimus 262 Posted January 17, 2014 Bathroom breaks and beer runs. WTF? Cheating? LOL. No. Just nope. And yes, I have to pay attention for side steps avoiding getting stuck in trees, bushes, fences, or running through water, taking a swim, Zeds and peeps.... It really just frees up my hands for short bursts of times.Better submit this to the BUGS forum. See if the devs can fix it.
Awruk 216 Posted January 17, 2014 If they added vehicles there would be no need for this.
rybo 171 Posted January 17, 2014 (edited) Cheating luls. Just like putting a full BDC reticule on my monitor with a red dry erase marker. Yeah, that will get me banned.... Edited January 17, 2014 by RyBo

Wolfguarde 108 Posted January 18, 2014 If they added vehicles there would be no need for this.Have you ever tried to drive a non-offroad vehicle through the forests/plains of Chernarus for an extended period of time?
Etherimp 1323 Posted January 18, 2014 If they added vehicles there would be no need for this. Because everyone will have vehicles, right? No.. If the # of vehicles in SA is approximately the same as the # of vehicles in the mod, only a few groups of regulars on any given server will have vehicles for any extended period of time. Furthermore, I've noticed that most of the people who play DayZ can't drive for shit and just wreck their vehicles within an hour of having them anyway.
