Burying small secure containers

I'd like to be able bury small containers with clips/compasses or whatever will fit in it.  Then be able to loot it later on by some means(shovel/spade/metal detector?).  Could open up some meta game treasure hunting as well.

Year, got the same idear. Meaby with a long buring animation to let others spot you.

Or some marks on the ground.

I like the idea and maybe add when gps is put in the ability to mark the location on your gps.  It would be nice to have a way to hide/store some extra loot right now.

Could be done by requiring a shovel + stone(s) to mark the area

Shovel in hands would give action "create stash". Selecting this option plays animation then opens an inventory to drop items in. Interacting with it again would be in the same as creating with "dig up stash" while standing next to the stone(s) marking the area.

Excellent idea, well presented. Have some beans.

Perhaps you would need to place items to be buried into a protector case or ammo box, though even a burlap sack would protect tinned food for a short period.

I like the idea you can mark the stash with stones or on your map or GPS if you have one.

I don't think it's possible, but ideally, your marked map/GPS would still show your stashes if they fell into another player's hands.
