You all reinforce my entire philosophy surrounding this game and life altogether. The only thing we must do is live or die, everything else is a decision. You have decided not to run to airfields and get guns to kill other players.but decided to trade books and put literature and information from the game to use (while still getting a murder in every now and then I'm sure). This is one of the most goddamn beautiful things I've ever seen because the harsh apocalyptic setting and current murderfest in the game inclines against such a casual thing as reading. I really look forward to helping yall and the readers of Chernarus. I'll be back soon with a list of books to donate.

I found origin of species in french (I think) but I didn't loot it as I do not know what languages you can read.

 

We should probably post what languages we can all read.

I couldn't find an author suggestion thread, but they should really include some Seneca- a Stoic philosopher who is well worth investing your time into.

His works are extremely easy to read and are consistently mind boggling in their concise explanations of truth, virtue and the why of it all.

"On the shortness of life" is essential reading for all us mortals... Not to mention reading it in the context of an apocalypse.

It is PERFECT fireside reading for you reflective lone wolves out there...

i also happen to have "Moby Dick" and "War and Peace" but both are badly damaged so i wouldnt really bother anyone with them..

so far condition (haven't checked ruined) has no affect on books, but lets be honest, you should burn "War and Peace" on the spot every time you find it. Never before or since has so much nothing been said with so many words.

 

Edit: And in other news my life was once again claimed by a wall in hardcore so its back to collecting books!
