Lady Kyrah 1110 Posted May 12, 2012 We all know now that as it stand, military gear only spawn in a handful of places.What i suggest is simple, every single loot spot should have the entire loot table available.However the chance for everything should obviously vary, what i mean by this is that even if it's 1 chance in 1 million that there is an AK in a barn, this chance should still exist, any gear should potentially be anywhere, the only thing is that gear that is not normally found in this setting should be possible, but extremely unlikely.That would mean that sometimes, just sometimes you get lucky and find something unique where you did not expect it and it would release a little bit of the pressure that is currently on cherno/elektro/airfield.THe scenario is totally possible if you think about it, maybe some soldier accidentally lost a clip in this barn during the retreat, it's very unlikely, but not impossible. There are a lot of ways to explain as to why is a military grade weapon there. Land Squid 22 Posted May 12, 2012 +1As Grunt said, there's plenty of reasons why military gear would be in places other than just the military bases, not the least would be that when things really went to hell in a handbasket the surviving military people would likely have scattered like cockroaches and wound up dying in other places. Also ex-military folks who went home but kept some of their issued gear or bought their own after they got out.Hell, it isn't even the zombie apocalypse and if you went digging through my apartment you'd find a DMR, a PVS-14 nvg, civi SA Mk12 and loads of other gear. Sure, I'm probably the only guy in my entire neighborhood with that stuff, but it still shows the possibility to find it in a residential area. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
