Magnum revolver vs FNX45?

Anybody knows what the Speedloader-Attachment achieves for the magnum?

At the moment I'm carrying both guns... I have 3 mags for the FNX and the Flashlight-Attachment + Revolver with attached Speedloader.

I'm wondering which of those two guns I should ditch out... as I do not have enough inventory space for both.

Don't forget, the FN can fire as fast as you can click. This is a ridiculous advantage over the revolver

i gotta admit i probably prefer the magnum over the FNX, that cold steel look just makes it kinda sexy. but im using the FNX, problem is the fnx has alot of mods to it and one of the most important ones isent working at the moment but once they fix it....

Silencer / pistol flashlight / red dot sight and clip with 15 bullets...just makes it kinda awesome.

here's what i dont get tho. saw some people complaining that it takes more then one bullet to kill zombies...what the hell you shooting their foot? its extremly rare i need to shoot a zombie twice if i do its usaly cause i dident aim properly and hit them like in the arm or leg  wich dosent happen often. chest shoots and headhoots 1 bullet is all it takes on zombies that is.

 

Even tho i prefer the magnum im using the fnx  since im trying to get use to it. once the silencer starts working its gonna be sweet.

now if they ever introduce a silencer for the magnumg ´then ill probably switch to that.

daytime I use magnum, nighttime fnx45 with pistol light...works amazingly well at night. Unlike that useless headlamp

the silencer works fine, they havent put in the subsonic ammo for the silencer to work yet

Probably the same reason most people use the Mosin over the M4. It's just so sexy xD and incredibly rewarding when you hit your mark

anyway, you can pop zeds with FNX. it's mildly entertaining. having ragdoll physics on them would make it moderately entertaining.

I prefer the magnum but will take a 45 when I find one. I use them for killing zombies. If I run our of ammo I will usually ditch it unless I don't have a magnum . I don't rely on them against humans.

Firing regular .45 ACP with a silencer definitely does not sound the same as without one.

If i don't have primary weapon i take .357 magnum over the fnx .45 to have better chances against players.

 

Otherwise .45 to shoot zombies with and to have flashlight in same.

 

 

Btw. i've found only about 4 x .45's in this patch and 3 of them bugged so i couldn't pick them up. Revolvers everywhere!

LOL not sure why this comment came up ?? but if you want to be strict then no its not military any more it was a ww2 military rifle but no military uses it any more its more of a gun collectors eg civilian gun now lol.

I have just shot my friend with the FNX-45 because I underestimated its damage.  :(

He shot 1 bullet in my legs with a Revolver and I shot him 2 times in his belly with my FNX-45 because I thought it would atleast take 3-4 bullets to kill him.

He said he died already after the 1st shot. We were both "healthy" so we were both at maximum health.

(Our distance was about 2m - 3m / 7ft - 9ft!)

Kinda curious about this, but I find FAR more FNX45's than revolvers, AND I read on the wiki that revolvers have more damage and are more accurate?

However that is the same for me when it comes to Mosins and M4's.  I find more M4's but it deals less damage, YET it is a military weapon.

 

Not only that but I have not found any ammo or magazines for the FNX45.

 

I am thinking of ditching my pistol for extra space in my backpack for food, water, ammo, etc, but I am wondering if I should keep it and hope to find ammo and magazines for it in the airfield I am headed to?

 

FNX45: Is there any real advantage over the revolver?

 

It all depends where you look for loot. If you are looking at firestations and military spawns you are more likely to find FNX's and M4s. In residential and industrial areas you are more likely to find Mosin and Revolver (you can't find M4 in those areas anyway)

Magnum speedloaders are awesome, just hit R to reload it in a firefight. I don't attach them and reload manually unless I'm in an emergency and don't have time to reload otherwise.

RL would be completely different (and is :P) but the power of the magnum combined with the reach out and touch somebody ability of the Mosin... Pretty much a no brainer... no pun intended  B)

I'll never put my FNX45 down its got plenty of ammo, holds 15 rounds per magazine, blasts through zombies. I have a long rifle for player encounters. The magnum sits pretty until I can find a few speedloaders or it is just a deathtrap in my inventory. I love it, but precious time is wasted fumbling ammo. I don't PVP much so the magnum is eye candy for me.
