ninjacalypse 551 Posted January 11, 2014 As per the title. .. would cut a lot of crap from the forums. Confirmed features:http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/156129-confirmed-upcoming-features-for-dayz/ The dev roadmap for DayZ will be finalized by mid-January. There should be a general announcement sometime this month hopefully.

Roshi (DayZ) 397 Posted January 11, 2014 Yeah - not so much confirmed features (thanks for the links though) but rather an explicit "we will never go in these directions" eg NPCs, experience points etc. Not for me (I've been lurking round the forums since it began pretty much) but rather for those who don't use search and end up posting threads that are totally out of kilter with the basic premises of DayZ and that have been post a hundred times before.
UnarmedCiv 54 Posted January 12, 2014 or a suggestion topic that crosses out things that will never be implemented... but either way, people are gonna rush to the forums and not read the sticky. Its inevitable.
Dellema 12 Posted January 12, 2014 Or just often suggested ideas. If the idea isn't unique, there isn't a reason to post it, legitimate or not.

Baarn 53 Posted January 12, 2014 People don't read stickies, their ideas are full of so much greateness, it can't be in there.
DevilDog (DayZ) 455 Posted January 12, 2014 That is great some other website did that, but we need a sticky here. Good idea OP. Perhaps in the thread you could have a "Good Idea" section where if it gets enough good feedback here it gets added there so perhaps the devs can weed through the BS. Not this forum, but the official DayZ reddit page. Why would you have it here too? Everything you guys have posted about (crossing things off that are definitely not confirmed, list of well known suggestions) is on that page. The reddit page probably gets more views anyway ;_; Edited January 12, 2014 by ChristmasLunch

Gezus 5 Posted January 12, 2014 Why request this? .. just like the OP .. people wont take the time to read it anyway?.. Considering it more or less ALREADY exists..
Gdaddy22 299 Posted January 17, 2014 (edited) How about you create a pinned thread with the most popular suggestion that will never happen. Everyday people create a new thread with the same suggestion that we all talked about and they won't come true, like becoming zombie after getting bitten etc Edited January 17, 2014 by Gdaddy22
