I am wondering why there isn't any gun shop/military supply or even hunting store around.

 

 

Sure, these places would have been the first to be looted in case of a major zombie outbreak, but they still should be some in the game, no?

Does it have to be THAT real?

I mean, there isn't a single house that is the same, in the world, but Dayz is full of identical houses.

 

Also, why does there is always the same kind of stuff in houses? I mean, why there the loot not determine by the owner of the house? That way, you could find a house where a junkie lived and find some drugs, alcool, or a camping lover where you would hace pocket knifes, gas lamp, gas stove, tents... Or even gun nut!

Would people stop pulling shit out of their ass. 99.99999%? You know there are SEVERAL countries that allow you to own weapons. Notice they may not allow you AR-15's like America does, but you can still own simple bolt action rifles and handguns.

2nd amendment =/= Legal firearms ownership.

That's not what i meant either. Just because the american way of life and the 2nd amendment entitles americans to arm bears doesn't mean it has to apply to the rest of the world. Yes the world is copying a lot from the usa and vice versa but the lax weapon regulations is not one of them. In fact the us gun laws look like half finished compared to those of other countries. Some countries even have a no firearms law ( "WOW impossible"" is what a us citizen would say but it is as it is ) and even more awkward ones involving toy guns ( germany and uk as an example lol ).
