Itchysock 35 Posted January 10, 2014 Ok you claim to be good, I dont denounce that... then you can teach people like us how you hit people from 800 meter without any missing by this dispersion rate in the game (and to mention the dispersion rate is totally random so you have a huge cone to nullify) I am looking forward for your vid where you show us how we have to handle the mosin... people say Im good but I really would like to see how youre handling the scope and mosin. I will give you what I can as I am all about teaching. Looking back I knew from my early days I had a better sniping ability than British sniper Craig Harrison. It all started with my friends amazement at how good I was at Tin Can Alley. I could shoot all 10 cans off in a matter of seconds from 50 metres away while balancing a can of Top Deck on my head (the infa read beam was only meant to have a range of 45 metres). This along with my record high scores recorded in After Burner made me realise I was different to others, with a plethora of skills combing to make me a god of gaming. I would also regularly go down to the puggys to play International Karate Plus and kick off the older gamers. Now this may not be a help to you, however should give you inspiration. To get a kill from 800 metres in Dayz you need to have at least 40% of my gaming ability. Then it comes down to starting in a server that has just rebooted, fully tooled up. To be honest and agreeing with what you say regarding the dispersion rate being random, you need to have an element of luck as there are variables you have no control over, however I make my own luck by reading and memorizing the server environment and coding behaviour. For example at the start I will pick off a couple of zombies at medium, short and long range. From these shots I will look to see if they are wide, short, long, etc and record the trajectory, conditions and combat positioning so I have all information at my disposal to make any necessary corrections. I will then take a 600 metre+ shot at a zombie using all my skill, expertise, research and findings and nail it. If the servers starts to lag the variables may change and you will have to test against your findings again. If not then you are set for long range shots. It may take you a few weeks to perfect this, even months, however once you crack it the satisfaction is better than rubbing a newley open wham bar up and down your tongue. Itchysock 35 Posted January 10, 2014 Sorry but you will never be as elite as this guy. 1 makarov shot brings down a helicopter... edit: fixed link We done claim to be elite – being elite is a good status to be at, about 10 away from where we are though.. Nevertheless that is not a bad effort, looks more like bad piloting though, still I take my hats off to the victor, tell him who we are and he can learn to. Itchysock 35 Posted January 10, 2014 I can't believe this thread is still alive. All I can say is that you two truely are elite at what you are doing. Well played. Thank you brother. Like everything it will have its day, like a survivor on approach to electro when Ichy and Mooky are about. I was in electro last night on a solo mission, just needed some supplies for weekend domination, I am sure that I got a three kill, single bullet mosin shot. Couldn’t verify as I lagged out before visiting scene. If you happen to be in a group of three at church in elecro last night and were all taken out by a single shot, please reply. Would like to hear story from your side.

I pity them, it must be horendous.Itchy and I have the Freddy Krueger effect, i.e. It's a bloody nightmare for players if they come near Elektro.

Sorry my friend but all I read in your sentence is that you actually just dont want to make a short video about how you shoot some target (can be a zombie I dont care) from 800 meters without missing once. This is a really amazing feat, and I am really eager to see and learn from your expertise (if that proves true)... Coz your friend stated you shot a moving target with your OFFHAND while you were eating pizza (which means you didnt even bother to make any effort for it) you even have written about something how amazing you are and so on... I do not care about the fact how amazing you think you are or not... let us decide that when we see your video and I am really serious about this. I can manage to headshot a walking target with mosin from 200 meters up to 300 meters (300 meters is difficult but I managed a few times)... it differs from time to time.. and I dont claim to shoot the person on the 1.st shot. I tried to shoot stationary targets from 500 meters ( it was an estimated guess coz we still do not have a rangefinder so it might be about 50meters + or - ) but that just succeeded after 6 shots. And it doesnt succeed everytime coz like I said, the dispersion rate is a hell of a thing and you have to nullify a really huge cone, and this cone just gets larger the longer the distance gets. So I am really looking forward for your short video. To watch and learn... till then be in peace my friend

I will one day post my expert possessed like abilities for you to make your own mind up. The information I gave you was merely the premis for being able to understand the game and long distance shots, in turn enabling you to be expert enough to shoot a survivor that is running, and zig sagging from 900 meters away with your left hand while eating a chicken tikka pizza. Now I am not sure if this is possible with any other kind of pizza as I haven't tried yet. Mooky did however manage to axe 4 heavily armed players that revealed his cover when he was eating a prawn chop suey, he was in fact half blind by the noodles that he had to slurp up quickly that overshot his mouth and hit him in the eye. Hats off to him. Peace brother.
Itchysock 35 Posted January 10, 2014 I forgot to say and after doing some very brief research, athene, as some have mentioned is a total amateur, lacks the very basic elements of comedy, and his videos could be used to torture terrorists they are that boring. Respect to him for being a fellow player and probably a follower. Peace to athene, let him follow us and rise to greatness.
nereus77 59 Posted January 10, 2014 I think you guys need to capture some of your exploits via video capture software and post them to YouTube before the rest of us can call you "elite." It would be great verification of your claims. I gave your original post some beans for entertainment value, though.

The Third Man 3 Posted January 10, 2014 Just bloody hilarious. Not sure how people don't read the satire in the story in the first few pages. You've been described as comedy gold, I must concur. Your wit and dedication is as clever to me as it is maddening to the first few post responders. These forums needed something light to alleviate the constant grumbling.Beans to you, sir. With knobs on!I appreciate you kind words friend. We like to give personal responses when possible because we care about our followers and they take the time to post to our thread, the least they deserve back is some communication from their idols.I am also an expert in writing replies to fans, they hang on my every word so I do like to keep them to a certain literary standard which would be the envy of top newspaper journalists or script writers.Your ability to discern the value of this thread means you are what we call part of our "Elektro Enlightened". These are the kind of players who have realised that even if they were sponsored to play Dayz for 16 hours a day with no other responsibilities, they would not be able to touch our level of divine skill with a 10 foot pole. Instead they decide to be educated , grow and you know what? Even laugh. Yes at the joy of being part of a movement that guarantees them a small amount of fame by association. Don't get me wrong such fans will only be background noise as our fame casts a larger shadow than Godzillas big brother BUT they will be loved by us and allowed to act as an extended bodyguard (even though we would never need bodyguards). So welcome to the Elektro Enlightened you are official member number 1 and application is open. Go in peace brother.
