Missing text

Hi guys,

I'm missing some text descriptions when I right click on an object. I should see what option I have but I only see some of them.

Right click on a banana and i see the option "EAT". Under there is an empty row. If I move the mouse over there and left click I see the description of the Banana so I imagine the text missing in the empty row is like "Description". Same thing happens when i right click on another object. For example on a closed Spaghetti Can i see the option to open it but again i've one or more empty row. If i click on the empty rows they actually work as they should (i can see the details of the Spaghetti can etc.). It's just the text that is missing.

 

Same thing in some menu options. For example under Textures settings all the row in Video Memory sections  are empty (where there should be Auto etc etc).

I let Steam check my local files and everything was ok. I updated my graphic card driver but still the same problem.

It's not a big deal but I'm curious to know if someone has the same problem and knows how to solve it.

What version is your game, should say on the menu, if it lower than version 0.30.114008 re-install or check or updates, otherwise just re-install the came, never heard of this problem before.

I don't have spaghetti or bananas to check for myself, but as this is an alpher, not all the text is going to be filled in yet.  Not all the items have visible names or descriptions.  Not sure about the settings bit though, those should be good.

 

Just make sure you're connecting to servers that are running your version of the game, and try it out in different servers.

Use the english version for the game and you ll get all info text appeared.

 

I used french game version and this problem seem appeared too for me.

Once i used english game version problem was solved

Some items are missing descriptions, these will be added in the future.

The stringtables aren't implemented yet, but the translationteam will start their work soon, I have heard.

 

For now use only the English version, as most of the other stringtables aren't done yet.
