pcombo 0 Posted January 7, 2014 Cant the inventory view get changed back to the dayz mod :D Not keen on this new view, Anyone else not like the new inventory????
Death_Dealer 3155 Posted January 7, 2014 I think it looks great, and it's very functional arma 2's inventory system is clunky and slow
weparo 613 Posted January 7, 2014 After getting used to A2's, I think it wasn't so bad after all. The DayZ system is a hundred times better though!
maliceubx 73 Posted January 7, 2014 My own gripe with it is the scrolling. I really wish I could see everything I have at a glance and not having to scroll down in my own inventory. It's my inventory, not a browser window.
jasher11 67 Posted January 7, 2014 i really dont like the Arma 2 inventory its barely useable in my opinion. Arma 3's is much better and could have been used but the standalone has the best inventory system without a doubt, its very solid only with a few minor flaws
Frostbyte_ 44 Posted January 7, 2014 I just wish the minimized tabs were really minimized, the tabs are fucking huge when you close them.Oh, and safe boxes etc. should really display everyhting inside when held, not just the first row. Other than that i really really like it.
Karmaterror 982 Posted January 7, 2014 I would like to be able to drag and drop multiple items at once, packing a new bag is a chore atm. But then again i suppose moving stuff from 1 bag to another would take some time IRL.
Bakercompany86 347 Posted January 7, 2014 Love the inventory system. The *ONLY* thing I would alter is the ability to rotate items so you can "tetris" fit stuff into your backpack. Similar to Resident Evil 4.
Konna 149 Posted January 7, 2014 The only thing that bugs me about the inventory are the containers. You don't see completely inside even if you take it in your hands. Always have to drop it.
Undeadfred 0 Posted January 7, 2014 We should also be able to store an additional rifle.
ClassifyLP 61 Posted January 7, 2014 I like the SA style tbh.
Konna 149 Posted January 7, 2014 We should also be able to store an additional rifle. This, also. Would love to disassemble a weapon and take the parts with me, for example.
DevilDog (DayZ) 455 Posted January 7, 2014 I love this inventory system SO much more than the other one. I agree with what was posted here. The boxes need to get fixed so I can see in them when I hold them. Rotate items (sticks store vertically, but the splint is horizontal?). And finally the rifle thing. I think only the big bag should be able to hold an extra rifle, unless they add a "rifle bag". There are plenty of different rifle back packs out there to look at for a design. Konna 149 Posted January 7, 2014 BTW OP is trolling you :)I don't see how this is trolling. It's a valid point. Op dislikes it and asked for opinions.
ImageCtrl 719 Posted January 7, 2014 (edited) Cant the inventory view get changed back to the dayz mod :D Not keen on this new view, Anyone else not like the new inventory????I like the new version. It is intuitive. One thing that I would change is the size is changed in the "drag and drop". The size must remain the same if I move a thing with the mouse. (hope you get what I mean)The rest of the inventory system is perfect. :beans: :beans: :beans: :beans: :beans: Edited January 7, 2014 by NoCheats
terminal_boy 860 Posted January 7, 2014 We should also be able to store an additional rifle. Are you carrying a TARDIS on your back?
pcombo 0 Posted January 7, 2014 BTW OP is trolling you :) Sorry but i am not trolling anyone. I hate people who say someone is trolling just because you dont like the post. I dont have time or energy to make stupid posts and troll. Am hardly going to pay £20 for a game just to troll. Jog on!!

As far as the secondary rifle, I think you should be able to sacrifice your melee slot to carry an additional rifle sized weapon. I see no problem there. I know I'd do it when shotguns are implemented for sure.
Crawflex 3 Posted January 7, 2014 When the mod days I didn't have it I just watched streams/ letsplays etc it felt so complicated. I haven't got to try out the mod one but I think SA one is way more newbie friendly, and more easily understandable. I hope they make it look better though ;)
Frostbyte_ 44 Posted January 7, 2014 They really should add some effect to simulate the discomfort you go through when carrying shit. In reality armies have hard time getting their soldiers to keep weapons at ready when not in battle, and people want to be carrying multiple in game...
