Skev 1 Posted January 7, 2014 Make clothing much less abundant in buildings, but have the ability to loot the zombies for clothing etc. Zombies currently disappear soon after dying and I realise that having zombie bodies strewn around everywhere, probably isn't really practical from a technical standpoint, but maybe if they stuck around for a minute or two, we would have enough time to rid them of whatever belongings we may find useful. Bakercompany86 347 Posted January 7, 2014 And put infected blood smeared clothing on your possibly wounded body? Nooooo waaaaay. Otherwise if any one thing was common, I would say it is probably clothing. It's the only thing people wouldn't take in excess as they flee. Most likely what's on them, maybe some extras, but the rest of their space would be for food and supplies.
rossums 2190 Posted January 7, 2014 The only reason a lot of items seem so common is that there are next to no items on the loot table.Once they add other clothing options along with junk there won't seem to be the same things in every other building. I do see your point. If the zombies occasionally had items on them such as food and water, you may be willing to risk taking those hunter pants/raincoat if you're not bleeding, rather than leave them behind to rot/disappear. Mmmm, maybe it gets complicated with zombie blood everywhere. Ho hum :)

Very legit to think a survivor had found some food, and fallen victim to the infected horde. Thus you blast them, and a can of tuna might be in their pocket. shawnofthedead 8 Posted January 7, 2014 They have disinfectant in the game so maybe the option to take clothing from a zombie might exisit later in development
Dimastiy 0 Posted January 7, 2014 (edited) Zombies have cool rags, if player can wear them it will be cool, look like a zombie :D P.S. More customization, not only military s***t Edited January 7, 2014 by Dimastiy
jd85 13 Posted January 7, 2014 occasional loot on zombie corpses would be good, and give an incentive to engage them if its safe to do so.
Karmaterror 982 Posted January 7, 2014 (edited) I think clothing should be the primary loot in residential buildings (that, food and junk items), but (and im sure there will be) hundreds/thousands of variations. Would be nice to have the zombies wearing the stuff we can find aswell, or maybe blood stained equivilant :) Edited January 7, 2014 by Karmaterror
