Best way to take self-portrait?

Is there a better way to take self-portraits in-game? I don't want to use the alt-key method since it will turn my head to the direction of my mouse.

 

Taking a screenshot of the main menu where you can see your character is also an option, but I have -skipintro -world=empty currently in the launch parameters so my menu is basically empty.

err id say get rid of the -world=empty

 

and use f12 and steam should take a screenshot for you

I have the same problem, my guy is too shy to look at the camera.

I'm afraid the only solution is to get a friend to do it.

You can get a good self portrait by your inventory screen or taking a photo of the main menu.

I can imagine it now, you see a guy..

 

"Please come with me to find a sweet spot to take a pic of me"

You turn around to travel to said place and instantly receive his axe, to your cranium.

In fact i said to myself last night "why the f*ck am i carrying saline bags around with me? I can't administer them to myself anyway!" 

 

Epi pens are my only friends now  :(

 

I've even started chatting up the ginger Zedettes whilst circling them and holding off from administering that deadly Axe blow but it seems they just want me for my brainzzzz  :blush:
