i need some explanation about the re-spawn system

so when i die i got respawned to a different location every time  in random places .is that normal ? was it like this in the mod ?

 

then i noticed some times i got respawned in the same location several times  

 

and then there is one time i was with my friend then i got killed by him (he is an asshole ) i got respawned near him like 200m  

 

some one with deep knowledge in dayz explain  me this shit

Its random, with some factors accounted for I should think though.

Every time you die IMO you should be prevented from spawning at any spawn close to where you died.

The respawn mechanic is being messed about with as well. Previously you could spawn all along the coastline but now only on the east coast.

 

Basically you respawn at a randomly chosen spawn location on the east coast. Be prepared for this to, probably, change many times in the future.

Wut? I saw PsiSyndicates stream today, and he spawned just outside Elektro...

 

I think you can still spawn more or less anywhere.

There's definitely a spawn just West of Elektro, had it last night after a ladder glitch, think that's the most Western though

Yes, you do get randomly spawned. But for most of time, you spawn near coast (of course) and you can find road signs/cities within 5 minutes of game time, so locating yourself is not a big problem as long as you have some knowledge about the town's name, the distribution of structures, you know where you are. spawn system is an ongoing design , so prepare to see it's change to many times :)

BTW guys , yesterday i was able to spawn at balota , dunno if i was in an out-date server but is happened :)

Just my 2 cents, but you can also spawn in Noviy Sobor, which happened to me twice at least.
