Me and my friend held up a guy in Elektro, outside of the Firestation. I got him to put his hands up and told him to drop everything, and we waited a minute, telling him over our microphones to drop his things. He didn't, so we shot him. Instead of just shooting him on sight, we tried mugging him since he didn't have a gun. If you are mugged by someone, listen, and you'll probably be able to get out alive. You'll probably be shot if you have a gun, though. Off topic, but the best part about us killing that guy? It helped us out in the long run. His corpse was right outside the game, so when a server-hopper we spotted in the Firestation was about to leave, he went to loot the body and we shot him with our pistols. I guess he picked the wrong server to finish his hopping on, or he may have just been in the area- He really came out of nowhere and luckily my pal spotted him. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Make em shoot you and damage what little loot you have, cuz anyone holding you up is probably gonna kill you anyways. He had a Mosin, a backpack, and no pants.. I had a .45 with no clip so I made a run for it.. He started taking shots at me as I ran away swerving left and right eventually either him or another guy I saw running up on us got a shot on me just before I could duck behind a house. I was able to patch myself but I lost a lot of blood and was in bad shape so I went back into Elektro and threw myself from a building to get a fresh spawn. Even if they don't directly kill you, they've just stolen all the supplies you needed to survive. Same result, just prolonged. If someone seems nice and asks me if I want to trade or wants to help me out, sure I'll pass the time of day with them. If they ask me to stop and start trying to be a dominating arsehole, wanting to handcuff me or drop all my supplies I'll run off and test their aim - might even attack if they're alone and I have an axe or stalk them til they're less wary. EDIT: Oh and if someone has a gun and really needs food or water...they're not gonna let you live because they're just running to airfields and grabbing weapons instead of scavenging for food and supplies themselves. By the time I have a weapon I usually have a ton of medical and food supplies just from looting on the way to places. Krirub 13 Posted January 3, 2014 Not all bandits are the same, most are, but not everyone will try to rob you of everything and kill youMe and the group I play with shoot people with weapons, but if we see someone with no Pistols/Rifles we hold them up, handcuff them, steal all their ammo, some food & medical supplies, if we really need them, then we let them go. Almost all bandits will kill you, no matter what.And i don't want to risk, so i just run away. (most of the time i stay alive). Why should i give you the satisfaction to kill me? I just keep running along doing what I was doing. Especially if I have just respawned... I'm not going to waste my time playing along with some douche that's more then likely just going to force feed me rotten fruit or disinfectant, sorry, my time is more valuable to me then to waste it dealing with that kind of crap. I don't get why people complain about kos and killing in general, when they do not listen what other players tells them, and yet they want to have interaction with other players. WTF do you want from this game? Killing is part of the game, without PVP there would be nothing. Those three zombies in vyborg sure ain't gonna kill me, nor hunger or thirsty since healthy status is so easy to acquire. What is there to do beside kill each other? Why would you play this game if you are not in constant fear of getting shot? It's not like I can't get the same gear in about 10 minutes after I respawn. ocelot07 60 Posted January 3, 2014 OP that is silly advice. The smart thing to do is purposely wear damaged or badly damaged clothing. Put all your gear in them. If you are unarmed or out of ammo and get held up. Don't let the bandits have there way make them work for there loot. If they shoot you then there is a good chance the items inside the damaged cloths will be destroyed. Meaning you die and respawn quickly. The bandits waste ammo and get noting out of it. To me, doing anything but whatever it takes to survive and even worse, suicide, is just nonsense. If I can run, I'll run. If I can take them out, I'll take them out, but otherwise, I'll submit and hope they'll let me live through it / talk my way out of it.
